The overwhelming bullishness in the current market is concerning.

You are suggesting a bull trap in bitcoin or in crypto overall or what?

Don’t we have good btc fundamentals here after a decent dip?

Regarding bitcoin specifically Maybe you believe the minority view that we are in a kind of early 2014 like scenario rather than the majority (here) view of our being in an early 2013 like scenario?

Timely conversation about claiming forks for me, as that was my weekend project this weekend. Most of the shitclones are a no-brainer to dump.

I'm considering holding onto Bitcoin Gold and waiting for a pump though. Any thoughts?
Agreed. I know how to claim them, but waiting for $400 to do so. Just not worth the hassle till then.

The powers that be are so desperate to have an excuse to ban guns they will manufacture shooting incidents to provide the excuse. Sandy Hook looked staged I haven't looked into the Florida one so won't judge that. If it wasn't staged I'd be surprised. We live in an age of universal deceit and ever tighter control of every aspect of our lives.

The hard right is so desperate to believe they are not the bad guys that they actively engage in collective self delusion.  4Chan had “irrefutable proof” that the Florida shootings were a false flag operation in less than 24 hours. This is the same group of people that brought you PizzaGate, and many of them still believe PizzaGate is real and ongoing.

You can’t reason with these people.
I'll just leave this here.

Sure, we each have our own particular (or should I say peculiar) strategy involving (as it were) the laddering of buys and sells according to our own analysis of the risk/reward of said strategy at any given time. And sure, assuming a more Up than DOWN trend continues this should leave each of us with more bitcoins going down, and more dollars going uppy....

Overall you are correct but the proportion to which  you take your  profits in dollars or bitcoins can cause variance in how you make such an assessment of your status. For example if we return to $20k, I will have more bitcoins than I had the first time around, but fewer dollar than I had the first time at $20k, while at the same time way more dollars than I currently have - estimated at about a bit more than 2x more dollars than I have now but nearly 10% fewer dollars than I had the first time around

There was one school shooting over here in the UK, they banned handguns - there hasn't been another one since and that was 22 years ago

.... collective self delusion.
You can’t reason with these people.

That's how I refer to all the religions of the world....

He he, couldn´t have said it better myself. I´m practising agnostic. Wtf are these people on ?
Collective self delusion: CSD.
I declare my toothbrush as god, and if you don´t follow, i´ll kill you. How fucked up is that ?

On guns:
It doesn´t matter what we do now, raising the age to buy a machine gun is great and all (didn´t know that mental illness has a age limit), but they (the guns) are already out there. More than one gun per American. How do you call that back ?
Ain´t gonna happen in my lifetime.

Neo is going to get destroyed (or at least deserves to):  https://mobile.twitter.com/ercwl/status/970294228122263552

Yea. I don’t like Neo. First of all dumb name & very cliche. And the logo: very corporate and boring looking, kinda doesn’t signal anything to me, no meaning, except that it’s trying to look techno and referncing the movie “The Matrix”. Secondly, it’s a “stock”? Apparently you can’t divide up a Neo, and instead what you do is stake it for the “gas”? And like the OP said there, why is it a “chinese ethereum”? Chinese always do this, they take something someone else made, rip it off and make it “Chinese”. Well. Thats when I run to the exit. Not only is that weird nationalitic self-obsession, but it also means it’s Walmart. Also if it’s Chinese why are they using a latin word that means “new”? Is latin going to be ripped off for Chinese also? And why not just get the real Ethereum? Is there something wrong with that one? If Chinese are better than Vitalik, why didn’t they invent it first?

The origin of the term “run amok” comes from the Malay word “amuk”.  It refers to historic incidents in the 1670s when Malaysian workers would run crazy in a marketplace with a machete, killing or injuring a few people before they were brought down by the crowd.

The only difference between Stephen Paddock and a Malaysian rioter in the 17th century is that Stephen had AR15s and bumpstocks instead of a machete. This made Stephen far more efficient.  He was able to kill 57 and injure over 500 without the crowd being able to fight back.

What is someone with a concealed carry in the concert crowd going to do?  Point their hand gun at the Mandalay Bay which is 500 yards away and start blasting away?  It is an asymmetric situation where arming the crowd with handguns for protection achieves nothing.

By allowing people to create asymmetric situations like these, you are stopping people from defending themselves.  The crowd cannot defend itself from sustained fire from a distant tower.  You could have a dozen armed members of the NRA at the concert and they would have been useless.

The obvious answer is to remove the toolset that creates the asymmetric situation. Don’t allow tracer rounds. Don’t allow bumpstocks.  Don’t allow gat cranks.  A well regulated milita does not require full auto weapons.  There is a reason why army rifles only allow a maximum of 3 rounds per trigger pull.

You will notice the numbers grow as time goes on.

Homework for ya, seeing as you are the one being a sophist here: Graph them. Let's see how the percentages over time look.

Is this the assault on the neckline of the right shoulder on the iH&S everyone has been watching?

-edit- BTW, sorry to interrupt the gun talk... lol-

Stamp spiked up to $11395. If it can get above $11400 before Monday the post weekend pump could push it above $11500.

No need to get excited unless it breaks above $12k

A late good morning Bitcoinland. Just got home.

Seems we're still going sideways... currently $11307USD/$14577CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

It's been almost a week since we've seen 4 digits. Are we finally over $10k for good?

it certainly would be nice to stay in 5-digits and looking forwards to 6-digits ......... mmmm in a near future maybe , but nice to know that its all so possible
lets go steady forward and break all the new ATH's  to come... can't wait to see new ATH's

for the rest i'm happy that a few friends just kept hodling last months , offcourse a few panic sold as well but yeah again few new hodlers survived and joined as well

The McLaren could be standing still when the Tesla came past at 60mph and beat it to 120mph. (costs about 35 coins)

Which will come in most handy when I'm taking Mrs V8 up the Doncaster Bypass. To her pilates class.
