This is what Bitcoin is all about. Not Wall Street. About giving people under oppressive regimes a financial escape route. Best post this week. I'll respectfully disagree. It's about lambos, hookers, and getting rich quickly.

Dammit, roachie-poachie is screwed.... Interestingly enough from what I read, silver seems to be relatively inert to this process for now. This is not making gold bars out of thin air..this is something that might be useful in certain chemical processes found in heavy industry. Thereby lower production costs hopefully. Something to keep an eye on in the long term I suppose. Yea, there's a few factors to consider here: 1) The main application this copper alloy or whatever you want to call it seems to be useful for is oxidation resistance 2) Gold's main use in manufacturing seems to revolve around oxidation resistance. 3) Silver's main use is NOT oxidation resistance because silver reacts with sulfur in the atmosphere while gold doesn't. So, assuming creating this stuff is actually economically viable or the process is even real, it seems like it's only real effect would be copper taking some of gold's industrial use market. Copper is already used instead of silver in most electricity transmission applications, so there's really nothing that's even possible to change in that regard. All the speciality cases that require the increased conductivity of silver over copper remain completely unchanged. TLDR: slight net-negative gold, no change silver

Craight Wright is unable to fork my physical silver.
He might be unable to, but plenty of people can. My Christmas dinner was eaten using silver forks.

Anyone know how safe these things are? E.g. could somebody fuck with your transactions by hijacking the signal before it gets to its destination and then altering the receiving address? Wouldn't mind one of these toys, but not sure how hot a wallet would be.

No matter who intercepts or gets to manipulate your tx... the signature would be invalid and the transaction rejected.

Come on Bitcoin, Daddy needs a brand new Cullinan, and frankly 100 coins is a little stiff. https://youtu.be/WpdFOk8h-EAChris Harris doesn’t like SUVs. So we sent him to drive one of the most expensive SUVs in the world. Here’s his take on Rolls-Royce’s all-new Cullinan.
