Next 6 hours are critical. Bears are constantly trying to break the ~$5000 support, and I've got a bad feeling that they'll succeed in the current 6-hour candle.

New lows? I don't think so... That guy seems way too bearish on bitcoin at this point.

Of course, I am still not convinced that this market has transitioned into anything beyond further consolidation.. even if there are recent bullish tendencies in the past month or so and especially in the past couple of weeks.

But, projections of impending new lows, borders on wishful thinking to me, even while we cannot really rule out that the bottom is NOT in...

For example, if we stay above $4,200 in the coming weeks, then I might just switch over to considering this a bull market, at that time.

TLDR: The next two weeks = critical

The point about a $15 wage demand at McDonalds, leading to workers being replaced with $35k kiosks, was an example of capitalism and the free market responding to stimulus.

I do automation for a living and am all for $35k kiosks. I also understand well the limits of automation and the need for humans to mop up any deviations.  

The minimum wage in Australia is A$22 which is US$15.60. We have full employment here in Australia (5% unemployment rate).  

If your business is so shit you can’t afford to pay a living wage, then you deserve to go out of business. I’m looking at you, Walmart.

Wow another liberal expecting black or gays to have to be brainwashed into believing they need to pay for people who break the law and make it harder for the legal citizens who need jobs.

There is nothing wrong with having opinions about various political subjects, and expressing those opinions, but if you are buying into the political rhetoric of self-absorbed narcissist and likely self-dealing inability to contorl emotional criminal (namely Trump in this case), I question your thinking and your ability to work within established social systems.. but whatever.. who gives many ratt's asses about these kinds of matter?  

I was merely pointing out an apparent irony with someone (Bob) who is taking a strong exclusionary stance, and yeah, when strong policies are enacted, there are likely a large number of rippling effects through other parts of the system whether talking about extreme right or extreme left.... and I am not even expressing my own views here except that I don't consider governmental systems to be hostile to the will of the people.. even if those systems might have decent amounts of corruption that may need tweakings in various ways.. and perhaps bitcoin is going to provide some of those better incentive and accountability systems into the future.. we will see.. we will see.

Bob surely produces mixed messages (like paying 1% for 7 fig btc tx is OK, but $15/hr for MickeyD is too much).

 I place value on having the peace of mind knowing I'm not likely to run into issues, and things will move smoothly for me.

 Same reason I hire accountants.
 Same reason I hire lawyers.
 Same reason I have people managing my portfolios.
 Same reason I hire people to do jobs that I'm not skilled at.

Maybe I addressed a wrong person, and if so, I apologize, but I got a bit tired of multiple people here harping on labor.
Example: In Texas you can be fired for no cause and nobody needs to explain anything to you.
Additionally, it is legal in Texas to essentially rob temps of their wages by dismissing them earlier from their fully scheduled shift.
Thankfully, I am not a temp, but I did witness this on multiple occasions (via relative).

Yes, this phase of consolidation is more likely to continue. Whilst we may be at the start of an uptrend, the likelihood of a new low has not receded that much (hazard a guess at 35% ?)

I would add one more , possibly useful, comment :

The break down from $6200 was sharp, and showed the weakness of support in the zone between 6k and 4k. This is often mirrored on the way up, therefore resistance is likely to be weak, hence the ease with which price has risen in the last couple of months. Assuming the bottom is in (balance of probability only),
there could still be a lot of work to do (and time to spend) in this area, before any decisive further advance.

Pessimistic scenario :  5-6k needed revisiting and testing before a new low.

Optimistic scenario :  5-6k will work out and consolidate over a few more months, providing the base for a 2020 uptrend.
