We may need to get in there with our aircraft carrier

If joke, too soon. If not then did you read what he said about US subs?
I would like to know where that info came from?
If the US is backing (even tacitly) the Thia regime then he could be truly fucked.

Unfortunately any thought on how to help him should not be stated in an open forum, but I hope bitcoiners in that part of the world are doing something.

I would think the Philippines should be a considered destination afa close by possible safe havens if an embassy is not an option.

I wonder what our Philippine friends think of that?

He'd have better luck getting into Vietnam or Cambodia.

I think Cambodia has one of the most liberal refugee policies in the world if I'm not mistaken.

The Philippines has taken a turn away from the U.S. and toward China in the past few years, but if he somehow made it here I'm sure the government wouldn't extradite him back to Thailand. Geographically its harder to get to than the other two options.

Man, this is a shitty story all the way around, hope he makes it out OK, of course (and his girlfriend too -- it sounds like she would get even worse treatment if caught).

Isn't that a golden cross what I am seeing on this weekly chart? Isn't that big?

Or I am looking at the wrong charts?

Here same settings on TradingView (MA7/MA25)

Last time this cross happened it went to the moon.

A traditional Golden Cross happens on the daily chart when the 50 day simple moving average crosses over the 200 MA. We are not quite there yet:

Thanks for this information. I learned a lot from this thread.

So, MA50/MA200 isn't looking bad neither. It is almost about to happen. According to the chart on TradingView, The bull starter golden cross (MA50/MA200) happened in Oct/'15 when the price was $250. Can you believe it? Almost a x100 increase happened in the next 2 years.

It doesn't mean it is going to switch to a bull run immediately (see down below, it failed once, succeeded the second one) however If I am not seeing wrong but it gives a sign.

1 golden cross may fail and maybe 2 can happen at most (which is very unlikely but I am being generous towards bears), 3rd will definitely moon.

+1 WOsMerit

your not wrong

The Golden daily crossing typically energizes the local trading volume more than a weekly, that is true. Still quite bullish imho.

I don't think these exchanges care at all about bad actors or scammy projects.  I really do think bribe money has been going around to get SV delisted, Ver might be throwing around money to them.

What have you done with JJG?  He is MIA for days and you have his hat  Shocked

This hat stealing thing is no good and should be set straight. 33bitcoin, please...

While it is confusing, I seem to remember JJG assenting to such use.

That said, it would help keep things straight is 33bitcoin had a unique av.

[~snip]I mean Elwar and his wife should go to a major Western country and not go to a smaller Asian country. They should honestly just to back the US.
Have you heard from Elwar ? Did they get to the embassy?

We'll prolly know soon enough. In other note, why the heck the government intervened in the first place? Is seasteading seen as a danger or smth?

I'm not too sure about the other two countries, but I do know he can probably come to the Philippines, even if he is still a fugitive, and live peacefully there. There are so many foreigners living and retiring here.

He might do well in Thailand too, but since they're looking for him, that's not a wise decision to remain in the country.

As BoB would put it - SHEEEIT!

I knew a blacklist was coming. I'm surprised the hunters made it public. Well, it was just obvious anyway - or it could be to make a statement. The worst problem isn't immigration ATM, but emigration if you get my drift.

Damn it.

Deeper shit. At least it seems they've not been apprehended yet.

Police went to my house 8 of them.. 2-3 times for the last 2 days and that makes my mom and my son scared of them. Just a kid and grandma please stop scaring them..
Last thing a government like that is worried about is scaring an old lady and a child. They could even be used as leverage in the unlikely event Thailand wants to get to the bottom of the matter rather than, as I think, just send a message.

I don't think they're on a plane to safe lands yet. Getting out of that banana kingdom will take some ingenuity. At least, as someone said, Elwar is a clever MF, so hopefully with a bit of luck they might make it - and stay far from Thailand until the next revolution.

(Quotes snipped for brevity - check the OP for more info.)
