Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Masterluc sez we're going down. I think the rebound is over, we can still visit the weekly ma200 @5261
But my TA based on Vegeta is better so it's definitely going up. (Also, bearish trendline is totally broken + weekly MACD candle is green. Or whatever. ) In other words, fuck those wannabe soothsayer bear diptwats.. whether they have a name like Masterluc or they refer to their lil selfies as sum udder lil thingilie-ma-jiggilie... Honey badger no doesn't care.

@ Searing, I could have told you for free that selling 13BTC for $3xxx last year was a bad idea. I hope you still have at least 20-25 left because that was a bad move, brother.
He's got about 98 of them (at least after those anticipated sales of those shitcoins) That's not creepy. At all. I recall you made a guesstimate at my stash at one time as well... His dick measuring has always been a dominant feature. Thing is.. in my experience the people who are comfortable with their holding and risk levels don't feel the need to do that sort of thing. It's really a form of compensation. Who cares what someone else has. At least enough to try to start some kind of guessing game? Well there's 3 letter agencies, crooks, and insecure people. Look who's got psychological armchairing all figured out.... Whoaza!!!!!! Your assessment of my specific condition does help me to attempt to "deal with" the matter - though I am getting my bearings right now.. regarding this .... Sucks to be me.

But you know what is really cooking my goose? Fucking BCash. Not because I don't/want it to go up, or down, or sideways. It's not that at all. It is specific to the situation it is in currently. It's just that they make an announcement they are going to prove their centralized nature by adding a TAX to the mining that someone (The Bcash council?) gets to decide how to spen... Damn I can't even finish typing this it's so stupid. But why the hell IN LIGHT OF THE FACT THEY ARE PROVING THEMSELVES TO BE A SCAM is the price going UP?!??!?? Someone please tell me it trades so thinly that it's being manipulated. Because otherwise we have SO MUCH MORE stupid to weed out. I am just so tired of the scams. *EDIT* What the actual fuck? Seriously THAT can't be right? Didn't I recently tell you that CMC volumes are fake? I did. I like pomp but seeing him making a noob mistake like that makes me sad. The volume you see on CMC is %95 fake. (tldr; %95 of the exchanges you see there are wash trading, most of them don't have any real customers at all) https://bitcoinist.com/coinmarketcap-fake-cryptocurrency-volume/Real 24h trading volume of btc is around 1 billion USD.

This frustrates me as my support for Bitcoin is as a currency, not as some sort of replacement for gold to be exchanged and used for long term savings. The plan was to replace fiat...not just exchange value in fiat.
I have not seen anything to get my hopes up on this at all. When BitPay turned into BitCashPay we lost a major advance toward using Bitcoin as a currency. I have learned that BTCPay is a great solution for this but most companies just want to sign up for a service and have money deposited in their bank accounts.
My hope has always been that it will replace the dollar. Without the dollar, the US cannot print money out of nowhere to fund its endless wars.
Our collective operating system (culture) is lagging behind the possibilities provided by technology (as usual). In order to do things like replace the Dollar, the Bitcoin Network still needs to grow more nodes (users) and that takes time because updating operating systems in humans takes long, is exceedingly cumbersome and sometimes even impossible. It may take a generation or two for Bitcoin's potential to be fully realized. That Max Planck quote comes to mind: "“A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it.”" I am convinced we'll get there. Let's be patient and keep working on it.

Christ all you people can't you stop talking for one rotten minute? Some of us are trying to think over here.
Volume is still looking nice.
People seem confused and disorientated. Like they just got hit on the head with a hammer, while wearing a hat, before eating it. Something is wrong with the mayor. seems confused. too much herb? He's fine. He's right where I left him. Wrapped in plastic. Now, can we please stay on topic.
I'm trying to think!

The middle of the desert seems to be the place to be.
I may be naïve?
With a decent bit of money you can build/buy a reasonably good cooling structured building.
Everything for miles around is blasted out of existence every day. Zapped by the sun and the heat.
No more wanky flu germs!

Still, carriers who have virus inside and transmit via mucous (saliva) are immune to radiation from the outside. For cooling you can build underground, with pretty constant temperature and humidity. clay would be the goto material for covering the walls. Electric cooling still has the flaw of growing bacteria, unless you cool with water. And what if the cooling becomes defective, what about power outages, what about food? Living from canned food for weeks? f*ck that, man Good idea, overall, but there are important downsides to be weighted.
