Fucking RogerBucks. Have been waiting for over 3 hours now for the last block to confirm so I can dump my partners BCH on Kraken.
Working as intended my, supple and firm gay-ass...
Yes, I got the same problem, fork is after 7pm tonight (not sure exactly when), so perhaps blocks will go back to 10mins then,

If I have BCH in a wallet whats the quickest way to convert to to BTC or GBP?
Is there a localbitcoins style site for BCH yet?
Try hitbtc.com or shapeshift.io Stay away from hitbtc.com they may be selective scamming.

I love the potential that alts hold. Sure, there are tons of shitcoins and outright scams. But altcoins will almost certainly replace the stock market one day.
They have to replace penny stocks first. Which is already happening. Scammers have moved on from penny stock companies that aren't worth shit and have no assets or earnings, to altcoins and ico tokens that aren't worth shit have no assets or earnings. Easy peezy lemon squeezy

Paid 6$ transaction fee and after 3 days .. 0 confirmations . Bullish.
What is the tx id? I'm still waiting to look into your complaint, trolley! He might be, but it is entirely plausible. Yesterday the fee was ten bucks a pop, and 15 for priority transfers.

I registered at Kraken with all bells and whistles, but since every order takes longer than crypto, i´m gone. A shame, because i intended them as a cashout portal. Alternatives ? (i love bitstamp, but don´t want to rely solely on them)

How long orders take to fill depends on what prices you pick. Don't see how any other exchange would make much of a difference given Kraken's volume.

Don't know why those fools are high-fiving and congrat-zing each other. You still can't spend BCH or ETH anywhere. But to them I guess the "currency" part (merchant adoption) is irrelevant.

I can't do that because of privacy reasons, I admit I may set the fee a little lower than average but last time a made few transactions half a year ago it was confirmed in few hours in worst case. If it's gone that long without confirming now, you'll probably have to rebroadcast. Also, if you mark transactions as RBF, you have the option to bump up fees during congestion.

I tried to do this using blockchain and blockcipher and it says that transaction already exists

Just let the backlog clear out another day or two, and fees will drop back to normal and confirmations will go through quicker.

Can't bitch though. As long as the total of my Bitcoin and all my giftcoins is over $10kCAD, I'm happy.
And someone said that miners switching 2/3 of hash-power to BCH is irrational? It's many times more rational than the stand quoted above where one only cares for the current price, like it is important if the price is $5000 or $10.000 . Those miners at least have electricity bill to pay every month, what can be justification for only blindly caring about the price at the moment? Price will cache up in a month, a two or in six months, it doesn't matter, risking to break BTC by not dumping BCH in the face of the scammers trio is totally foolish.

I used Electrum with the option "increase fee" Never paid more than 2 USD in one hour. Of course, thats no argument for crypto. No coffee paying here. Thats for crypto 2.0.
