Guys I know this is off topic but is there a way to stop a unconfirmed transaction. Someone just stole the coins from my wallet.

try to double spend your coins to a new address where you own the private key.

put a very high fee in this tx and hopefully your tx will be confirmed before the tx of the theft.

I am waiting for my core wallet to load, will be done in a few mins. Won’t it just have a balance of 0? If you could let me know how to do it I would appreciate it.

Meantime I am doing something stupid. In addition to pre-paying my property taxes I am pulling the money to do this from reserve lines of credit instead of tapping some bitcoin profits. Once the new year ticks over I get a lot better tax breaks on work/bitcoins, and I'll just sell some pennies and pay off the loan in Jan.

I really don't like doing this though. But coupling end of year purchases, new reflow oven (always wanted an ez-bake oven!), and other stuff I am low on cash. Bad me. Bad bad me.

I did send out a transaction but it’s not showing on blockchain. The thief sent a real low transaction fee so it should be a while but doesn’t seem to be working.

Windows 10, I just did a fresh install a few days ago. I haven’t installed much other then btc, Ltd, ripple wallet. Not sure how I got a virus. It turned off windows defender and I only saw it detected a virus when I turned it back on. This is after I already noticed my coins moving on the blockchain. I don’t keep wallets on on my pc but I had them on for a min earlier today to move some coins.

You have to hit that accelerator right on the hour as only 100 tx are allowed per hour.  Also it is very busy most of the time.  You might have more luck getting the tx accelerated if you have more than one person attempting to get it through.  You have one minute!

Strangely enough my Aoyue 952 has done very well. Solid little thing.

I think I'm going to get a ez-bake oven to try to do better chip reflows. I can do it by hand, but there is always the risk I overheat the chip. Reflow oven would automate that, then I just need to make sure the tacky flux has the component perfectly aligned (you can bump a chip slightly with air to get it to perfectly center.

Haha, now this is choice.
http://www.businessinsider.com/ethereum-founder-threatens-to-leave-if-the-crypto-community-doesnt-grow-up-2017-12

Vitalik Buterin goes on a rant pointing out all that is currently wrong with the crypto world, as well as admitting what goals Ethereum and other cryptos haven't yet accomplished.

But then he threatens to leave the Ethereum project because of it. Which inadvertently highlights another fallacy: how important he supposedly believes he is to the Ethereum project, or that a decentralized cryptocurrency should have ever had a CEO/Lead creator/developer in the first place.  Tongue  Roll Eyes

Also, it's pretty ironic that the MSM want to use the analogy of Beanie Babies when referring to Bitcoin. But in the ETH world, the CryptoKitties dapp is literally a digital version of Beanie Babies reincarnate. But of course they don't say shit about that.
