Gentlemen, look on the bright side : we are officially no longer a bubble. So that kind of fud can be refuted by any of us, even no academic title needed to support the argument.

And this also shines another light on Mr Dimons change of mind towards BTC. He is a clearvoyant man after all.

So we are over our Hokusai cliff, meaning not only a drop in value but also a regression in time. (Back to october17)... . Wink Wink

So am I right in assuming that crypto is really done this time.....?

You ever see that movie "Romancing the Stone" ? Bitcorn is Michael Douglas right now. He just got a shot square in the nuts, but it ended up hitting a huge concealed emerald that is now slowly making its way down his pant-leg.

When the gem finally appears - resting on his boot - people will be momentarily dazzled. It will then get kicked up in the air, and then all unholy hell is going to break out, and then God-only-knows where we end up.

I'm guessing somewhere back around $10k by end of February, but that's taking a wild guess.

I’m a sucker for punishment. I keep sending fiat to Bitstamp!

There is just no bottom anymore.

Yes there is. Zero. And we're three times closer to it than we were just a few weeks ago. Probably Friday is my guess for hitting it.

I am going to say it again.

Both $100k and $100 Bitcoin are possible.  You need to have a plan for both.  If you don’t have a plan, start making one now.   If you can afford to hodl both, great.  If you can’t, then work out now how you are going to handle it.

This thread doesn’t have enough panic.  It’s hard to gauge when this will reverse because no one here gives a damn!

Come on people!! Start panicking!! I want to see... Fear... Uncertainty.... Doubt! And lots of it! Now!

C’mon! Let’s get a proper crash going! This is just an apparent namby pamby correction.

My theory:
The seller aka Market Maker is done for the day 20:00 UTC.
This guy is definitely a Pro, working hours on UTC, (London) and Weekdays mostly
The selling pressure turned off at 20:00 UTC hence the green.
Cautious.
Need to see what he does tomorrow.

That will be from the banks stopping printing money for bail outs. And people complain bitcoin is volatile!.
