I find one of his recent posts has an interesting anti-altcoin twist.
Masterluk has always been an altcoin-antagonist. Basically - he neglects alts like all the Bitcoin maximalists do. I am periodically reading his blog lately, and his attitude to Ethereum (as well as to all other alts) is rather disparaging. His main point (though not the only one) is - only Bitcoin is really decentralized and secure. Well, thats his point of view. It has some merit. I won't completely agree, and am sure some of the alts have a lot to offer, especially the ones which experiment with blockchain, and are not supposed to become just a currency - but we all are entitled to our opinions. Masterluk is a pretty smart, educated person and has great sence of humour too. Reading his blog one can get the most important thing at this time - the peace of mind. But if you don't know Russian - some of his sentences would be absolutely impossible to understand P.S.Wow, looks like I finally did my first post in WO thread . Won't do much more, as my poor English doesn't let me feel fit here...

I wouldn't worry about that, there's plenty of questionable English in here. You can make yourself undstood, which is better than many. I'm a Les Paul kinduva guy. At first I thought that was the Zakk Wylde version, but it's not. This is an LP Deluxe or Custom (or so, I have both), with the binding, the Zakk Wylde was not. There's also quite a bit of variation on the target paint, Gibson's paint jobs did not. It has half of the Gibson split diamond logo, it might be an Epiphone, not a Gibson. Mix and match pickups, that can be OK, whatever works for the player. Gold tuners, like the oxymoron LP Studio. No binding, no fancy stuff, but gold tuners/pickups? I played one of those, the headstock got broken twice, both times not by me. I got it professionally 'clamped 'n glued' , it's still a great guitar, but a little fuglier now. Still a cool thing for BTC geeks. I'm kind of disappointed on the METAL on the headstock. Everybody knows that pointy guitars are better for metal.

y tho? Because it's next in the series of events I mapped out months ago including a drop below 6K followed by a bounce to 13k I remember at 6K everyone was panic selling and calling 1K and I let you know that it was bouncing at least to 12K. Now that you have gotten this miraculous bounce and doubled your money with the perfect opportunity to sell, you demand ATH. You are too greedy.

excerpt from Denationalisation of Money. -The Argument Refined. An Analysis ofthe Theory and Practice ofConcurrent Currencies. F. A. HAYEK. Nohel Laureate 1974 The historical evidence
Professor Friedman has since2 more fully explained his doubts about the efficacy of my proposal and claimed that 'we have ample empirical and historical evidence that suggests that [my] hopes would not in fact be realised-that private currencies which offer purchasing power security would not drive out governmental currencies.'
I can find no such evidence that anything like a currency of which the public has learnt to understand that the issuer can continueh~business only ifhe maintains its currency constant, for which all the usual banking facilities are provided and which is legally recognised as an instrument for contracts, accounting and calculation has not been preferred to a deteriorating official currency, simply because such a situation seems never to have existed. It may well be that in many countries the issue of such a currency is not actually prohibited, but the other conditions are rarely if ever satisfied. And everybody knows that if such a private experiment promised to succeed, governments would at once step in to prevent it.

I hate hard drives...fickle, delicate beasts
No freaking kidding. HDDs are obsolete relics from the 20th century second millennium. It's time to move on from moving-parts contraptions. glass-bulb technologies and other fragile inefficient garbage. I've been using SSDs since the days of IDE (PATA) and have never had an SSD fail. I originally got into SSDs for performance (used HDDs in RAID-0 and RAID-5 before that), backing up to HDDs. It was the HDDs that actually failed. I was mainly seeking fast writes and reads. The extremely lower failure rate of SSDs was just a bonus.

When I came back you were back too, being all bearish and annoying, so I ignored you for a bit and musta missed your 'series of events'. Would you link?
