The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

While this looks prettier, I wouldn't use an evolutionary tree here, because you want to show that bitcoin is better, so all forms of money should be on 1 branch with bitcoin being the end point.
Evolutionary trees, and evolution in general are often misunderstood.  People often think that humans are the "pinnacle of evolution" and all the other branches are more primitive evolution-wise, while that is just not the case.

There seems to be enough pessimism around to warrant buying imo... Imma gonna enter a buy order a couple of hundred under what the price is now.

Seems like we’d be below 9k by now if bears wanted.
Why are we still near 10k?
Seems like neither bears or bulls are in control.

Not quite, this one might be harder. I really hoped that we could get over the four digits but nothing to do. Bears are still here with us.
I have some fresh fiat though and I am buying. Fuck it.

Ever notice that after a day or two of nothing but down across all cryptos, suddenly out of the blue some random shitcoin that no one expected will start pumping for no reason? Yeah, the whales do that on purpose... to concentrate all of their new $$$ resources on one pump and lure in the gullible.

It's DigixDAO this time.

Have fun with that, shitcoiners.

That market dump was placed EXACTLY at the time we were drawing the BOTTOM of the 2nd shoulder on the inverse H&S we are still in the middle of...

And, interestingly we saw a pretty big and somewhat irrational mempool inflation immeadiately preceeding it as well.

So IMHO we see the following two scenarios likely:

1.  We trace the upward slope of the shoulder we are in and break up and over 12.5 within 6-10 days.
2.  We fail at the second shoulder and drop to ~ 7.5-8.5k and resume CCMF (12k-13k) in mid march.

I think 1 is a bit more likely than 2.  And the reason is: I think the action last night is indicative of someone trying to actually BREAK the H&S.  Otherwise I think dumping ~2500btc (23MM USD) at MARKET is a terrible trade.  And the mempool action is indicative as well.  And I am not one to have much paranoid theories...  Last night was weird.

*Edit to reflect the correct massive dump amount.

I really don't appreciate this additional gag gift the bear whales are serving up today. Gee whiz, my 50th hasn't even arrived in my part of the world, yet. Come on BTC markets, you have a little less than 12 hours to turn this around.  Angry Friday is going to be hard enough for me.  Cry
Whine and you shall receive!  Cheesy

Hope this trend holds. Waking up to $10,000+ BTC was a nice birthday surprise. Please BTC, don't make my 50th harder than it already is.
Sorry I've been away and couldn't congratulate you. Smile, my friend, smile! They say 50 is the new 40, so life is just about to begin again! Smiley

And bitcoin will rise, as she always does.
