Holy shit. I think I'm unofficially retired as of an hour ago.
It hasn't hit me yet.
Making it official with a select group tomorrow, then telling my direct manager on Friday.
Wow.
I can't believe I actually pulled this plan off...
Congratulations!
Do you have any plans as to what you're going to do from now on?

- Catch up on sleep
- Move to Texas
- Play lots of vidya
- Work on writing / recording music
- Work with vocal coach for refining my range
- Lots of reading
- Lots of gym time
- Lots of lounging by the pool, and being sexy pool boy for Big Dicked Ginger Rick while he continues to work for a few years more
- Bitcoin Lightning Network involvement with running a node
- Chillin' wit all you homies in this thread
- Drinking beer
- Travelling the world and building up a library of first-order ambisonic ambient recordings

Being retired I find myself needing to justify myself every once in a while when I do absolutely nothing all day.

I'm retired bitches, do you know how many working days I have looked forward to waking up, doing absolutely nothing, taking a nap, getting up and doing absolutely nothing then going to sleep early at night? Some days I do that on principle. Because I can.

Sure I'll eventually get bored of that and do more productive things, but give me my moment here...

Congrats!

I retired on 1/14/18....so a bit more than a month, the 1st month was pretty busy...tax mess from crypto mining (my income stream now) HODL mode...too much time in pajamas on bitcointalk.....had time to make a couple killing on stuff in that I don't work....(garlicoin) and some other stuff....

still somewhat befuddled however...and I feel like I am a 6-year-old who just got done looking at a playboy....feel kinda dirty...and have no idea why..no context...

same thing, not working..I wake up everyday feeling like I'm gonna miss an appointment or need to be someplace..what is it 'phantom work syndrome?"

some kinda PTSD as a former 'worker ant' I guess Sad

anyway, spend a lot more time looking at house procrastinating projects (painting/fix plumbing/etc) that seems to be a constant from when I had a job that has not changed....

but it is weird, you will find that out for sure...

Congrats to you, too!
edit: Also Elwar, how could I forget you lol.

I'm sure it takes some time to get used to it but it's a great problem to have Grin. I'm not far away from being able to quit the worker ant life too. Can already feel the eery feeling of unreal that comes with it and it's great to see some fellow bitcoiners actually pull the trigger.  Smiley

Nothing wrong with doing nothing as long as it's not the only thing for years on end. I regularly save some time to do literally nothing for a few hours and sometimes a few days, occasionally including a silent fast. The latter is quite tedious, but it really turns up the enthusiasm about life up to a maximum, comparable to the sense of wonder that one usually experiences as a kid about every little thing.

BTC appears to have pierced through the upper trend line which is quite bullish. Every technical chart and all prices on exchanges are a little bit different, this is from GDAX and is a 3 hour chart. (To get the whole downtrend on one page and some detail regarding the price over the trend line)

It is at the 11,695 level and you can see the next potential resistance highs from the downtrend. It is producing higher highs and higher lows which is a good sign for those that are bullish. You can also see the high volume around the last spike low and the current ascent in price. (Highest volume since the top in December)

Log scale friend, this is bitcoin.  That down line is at 12800 stamp, 12300 GDAX.

Pure evil strikes again, as the second they let a rabbi into the country of Iceland, he instantly plots on how to commit white genocide by flooding them with rapefugee invaders.  The higher ranking rabbi are clearly passing down orders to the lower ranking ones to do this.  People claim there is no "Jewish conspiracy" and they all just magically want to commit white genocide on their own, but there are obviously marching orders being handed out here in a centralized, vertically integrated fashion through their religious order.  You either expel this evil cult back to hell where it belongs or they will destroy you:

Nice chart for the doubters of peak silver and gold, and this chart only goes to 2012.  It's only gotten worse since then!

@micgoossens ... go go I still have a small chance Cheesy

A pretty low chance... like almost a miracle(or a snowball's chance in hell) would be needed.

I see that there are a lot of guesser date gaps starting in March, and it seems pretty likely that some folks will come into the thread to attempt to take those dates.... hahahahahaha... How ridiculous can you get?

Seems like mid-march would be the soonest, but several months would seem more realistic, like June or July...... if BTC is pretty bullish, and September or October for a slower boil, but still very bullish scenario... but in any case, the number of guessers does really start to thin out as time passes..

I cannot really blame anyone for being BAD (that means not good) in their prediction skills because I recall that in late 2017, I was considering the end of the year to put us around $23,000 ... hahahhahahaha... so in the end of 2017, it seemed more than reasonable to consider January and February dates for the $24,777 price in the game.
