If you bought Bud Light for $ 1000 in January, drank all the beer and passed the bottles, now you would have $ 79.  

I'm not sure even Bob could pass the bottles, though he could certainly drink all the beer.

I did the Bud Light index. In my country, Bud Light costs $ 1.97 per bottle. D January 2018 you would buy 370 Ripple (the maximum price in this chart) for $ 1000. In the chart, I indicated how much Bud Light could you buy for 370 Riplle at different times in my country.

Since derivatives I can see this as being entirely possible as they are both now more or less being treated similar by the same class of people.

BTW that link mentions nothing of bitcoin is is far too long so I just started skimming it and it looked like a boiler plate buy gold the sky is falling hit piece to me.

Yeah, they're pretty gross.

I don't mind a good German lager but what I really love is a full-bodied Irish-style dry stout.

Luckily there's one brewed right here in Ontario using local water so it's easy on my system. It's brewed to 5% alc/vol which is a little lighter than in some countries but standard for here so it's what I'm accustomed to.

This pattern seems reasonable to me, although I would hope 2021 would have higher prices than they predict. Next year sub $3k most likely. My prediction is based on the last halvings, not sure what those who expect the bull to pick up later this year are doing other than hoping.

One should be mindful that the effect of the halving halves each time. We're going from a thud to a tinkle. When the reward is fractions of a bitcoin, who thinks the halving will still be driving price?

Actually if you drank $1000 of german beer you would have more. Because 9 (dollar) cents a bottle when you return it (pfand).

And it usually costs no more than 80 euro cents per bottle, so lets say an expensive beer is 1 dollar each.

Thats 1000 beers with a pfand return of 90 dollars Making you richer than the guy who bought ripple.

That's an interesting observation I never considered.
