There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Hey nerds, Bitcoin is pretty much dead. Because some teen crypto kiddie says so.

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/bitcoin-is-pretty-much-dead-says-teenage-crypto-phenom-2018-12-14?siteid=yhoof2&yptr=yahoo

I love how MarketWatch is now interviewing 13 year olds for their investing advice. Keeping it classy and professional there, MW? Mmm hmm. I've got a 7 year old niece they should interview next.

I hate the way the story is sold where this kid buys Bitcoin with a $1000 gift from his grandma and it made him rich because...

-snip-

Oh yeah I forgot about the bet he made with his parents about going to college... if you can believe the stories. He had a GPA of 2.1 (yeah right) - who gets into college with that kind of GPA other than top tier athletes and kids with rich alumni parents?  His story seems mostly contrived.

I can see this turning into a cluster rapidly. Read: Lawyers

I wonder how and where he purchased he's coins. Being only 12 or so at the time of purchase...can that be legal? I do as many probably and skip over the TOS for using a exchange but you would think they would have a legal age clause or some such.

This time looks real? Any idea what happened? BAKKT effect?

Occam's Razor. Or, my personal favorite. Charlie Lee is buying back into ltc to give everyone a nice xmas.

It means Toxic2040 is Huck Finn irl  Wink

Winter Coho run is just beginning.  Smiley

[img -snip- img]http://This grey bearish orderblock is the key level
If price rejects the midrange (yellow line)
we go down
If price is able to break the yellow line and retests it as support we have a trend change and I will flip bullish
But I remain bearish until that happens
We have a lot of broken support that now acts as resistance
So a lot of buying pressure is needed
Blue line is the weekly open

The Goose throwing down some charts. Bullish.

+1 WOsMerit

Orbital nodes would be interesting. Also..LEO seems ideal for mining operations. Unlimited solar power and heat dissipation. Not to mention chip performance operating at low temps.

--------------

What do you guy's think about this chart? Ill take some guesses and speculation on it and then explain its meaning and possible correlation if interested. A clue..spikes at the 8-10 year and 12 and 14 areas.

p.s. Broke thru resistance at $3.45k and looking for support.

47 people got the poll wrong so far.

The answer is "you don't know."

You don't get it, you intentionally vote no because you are always wrong.

FRESH FROM WANGA/MASTERLUC TELEGRAM

The stock market is not so good. Bitcoin can easily stretch up to $ 2000. Winter is coming) But I think the correction is entering the final phase, and I would buy below 3000 if there were money =)

Original: Фoндoвoмy pынкy плoxoвaтo. Биткoин мoжeт лeгкo пpoтянyть дo $2000. Зимa близкo ) Ho дyмaю кoppeкция вxoдит в зaвepшaющyю фaзy, и нижe 3000 я бы пoкyпaл, ecли бы были дeньги =)

In Bitcoin we do not have a massive adoption, it is progressing correctly, but it will take a few years, institutional investors are close, we need to optimize and make the process simpler for everyday users.

If we compare it with a Smartphone it was invented in 1992, the first good Smartphone came on the market in 2005, with a number of users of 2%, 7 years later 54%, 11 years later 81%, today no one doubts that a Smartphone be a very useful gadget, Bitcoin will not take so long.

They didn't require you to take a financial risk after having a deep ponder over the nature of money itself.

That's a stretch for most of the world's population.

Sure, but faster and cheaper transactions aren't a stretch. In good parts of Europe "real-time" wire transfers have just arrived, and they are neither free nor do they transfer to an arbitrary recipient. Exchange rates eventually becoming redundant with global adoption is anything but a stretch as well. It's just a matter of infrastructure, and where there is money to be made people will build.
