The report claims that the exchange platform does not have control over their Ethereum wallets’ private keys and that the hacker is the one in control. It also states that users of the platform continue to deposit Ethereum tokens in their wallets, irrespective of the hack.

Well so much for the police getting involved a few days ago. Looks like they are a big help, eh?

 Thank you JBreher for giving me the heads up about Jan 3rd proof of keys!  I am still proving and very grateful for the heads up.  I might otherwise have been crying about this news.

Hopefully, the Mayor paid his utility bills and has been sufficiently able to make sure his heat is on, before going into his cupboard.  He's got enough pants, so at least, he will be o.k. in the clothing layers territory, but I suspect he will still need some heat, especially with these extremely low temperature numbers that seem prevalent through northern USA and of course, into nearly all of canada (perhaps some relief on the coasts?).
