Good Morning WO brothers!
Nice pump overnight, hopefully we reach a new yearly high for 2019 this week. Everything seems positive at the moment, no sign of any negativity or reasons for bearish price movements.

Have a great week everybody in the HODL brotherhood!

France Passes Bill to Allow Insurance Providers to Invest In Crypto & Tokens

Quote
Known as “Plan d’action pour la croissance et la transformation des entreprises,” (Pacte) the act reportedly allows insurance providers in France to invest in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) with no limit on the amount of investment.

According FXStreet, a dual provision of the act enables insurers to invest in crypto through specialized professional funds, and allows them to offer life insurance policies exposed to crypto. The new measure will also impact professional capital investment funds.

The with no limit on the amount of investment worries me.. We haven seen many individuals get into gambling behavior with crypto. Most likely insurance providers will do the same.

@Elwar, hope you are safe and things don't get too complicated.

Bitcoin with 1400 day simple moving average.

(The date is earlier, but the chart is from day 14, it is current.)

Elwar, I hope this problem is solved soon.
Good luck.

Good Afternoon guys,

After 100+hours working in last week, I am feeling like a cheap drunk bitch. noticed the @infofront's new poll  Cheesy is this some kind dark humor @Inforfront? Cheesy and who are those 15 users who voted "Yes" Accidently. I hope your sell button freezes when BTC hits the new ATH  Smiley

~snip~
" Hon is there any chance that you can ran away alone if shit happens" 😂😂

Surely when shit hits the fan, you cannot count on a GF to stick with you, and sometimes you may not even be able to count on a spouse.

True, during tough time even your shadow can ditch you sometimes. but there is some exception as well and we have to be positive and alert at the same time.

I am kinda lucky that my gf is not materialistic at all. she is a Yoga instructor and spends her life like a hippie ( minus drugs) but anyway no one can predict the future.

Just got home from spending the whole day in Liverpool.

The view from my seat just after Mane put us 1-0 up Smiley

Nice dude! are those seats considered good in Soccer? I am Cricket fan so don't have experience watching Soccer live from Stadium. Chances are I am moving to

London for a couple of months for some freelancing work, will try to catch up some games just for the experience if got any chance.

Hello Wall Observers. Good to see Bitcoin over $5k and finally we left behind the $3.8k to $3.9k resistance.

~Edited out~

DADA!!! Need 6k in a couple of weeks and Happy Bengali New year to you and your Family.

I'm hoping for some news from Elwar. They're going to fucking steal his home, but at least I'd like to know he's free and safe.

It is a real shame.
I believe his intentions were to free himself and anyone staying on the seasteads from any government influence and laws. Seems like there is no safe haven left on earth.
Hmmmm maybe on the moon? Come on Bitcoin take us there.
Hope your ok Elwar.

I figured the basics were pretty well covered, I would have presumed including some conversations with the right people pre it being installed.

Not the total surprise to the "authorities" that article implies.

@JSRAW

The view is better than the picture does it justice. There are better seats in the stadium but there are a lot worse. I pay approx £50 per game.

On topic - Regarding Elwar, I feel sorry for him if they restrict where he can live etc but it’s a bit weird any way imo. Why would you want to live there regardless of any tax breaks/avoidance etc.

He’s rich AF. I’m sure he could buy a beautiful house on land & create bogus companies to enable some kind of tax avoidance. Good luck to him but I dunno, was kinda dumb to begin with.

I'm just going to leave this here :

Seasteader in legal troubles, platform to be removed......

https://www.bangkokpost.com/news/general/1661300/seastead-couple-in-crosshairs

Edit: He's possibly in very big trouble here if they proceed with the charges as mentioned.

Highly unfortunate development. I thought Elwar had tacit approval or acquiescence for the seastead. I wonder where the disconnect is.

i think he was counting on "flying under the radar" on this one.  might be wrong though. definitely sucks but without some sort of formal agreement in place it was bound to happen sooner or later.

easy enough to tow to top unit somewhere else but the spar would be harder. might be easier to just sink it. coral will grow on it (already has some i believe) and its just another part of the seabed ecology at that point, so it not pollution. i believe they would have to notify some authority or other that they sunk it with the details of what it is, where etc.

anyway hes proved the point that can be done. not many can say that abount a whole new tech. pioneers always expect setbacks. im sure elwar will take it in stride and move on.

that penalty. man. doesnt leave much room for negotiation does it. gotta look up that law, im sure its so draconian for a reason, at least back then when it was passed.

stay safe elwar! looking forward to updates.

Was it a tax thing for him though? I thought it was more of an ideology thing. And if so, governments are very corrupt, I can understand him trying to remove himself from their influence. Not what I would do, I prefer to stay and fight, but I absolutely support him.

I very much hope he and his wife are well, and can get themselves out of any trouble.

The Thais recently threatened the death penalty to people taking selfies in front of planes taking off.

You can also be jailed for disrespecting the king there by stomping on his face when your banknote is caught by the wind.
....

As far as I understand this scenario, its for tourist's own safety. The tourists do dumb things all the time just for some cheap excitement. The death penalty does sound extreme tho. On another hand, western media exaggerate the news quite a bit when it comes to Asian countries I am sure if you follow the local news there would be a different angle on the very same news. 90% that's a case.

Thai's royalties especially kings considered God there. people literally worship them and they have blind faith in them.

Thanks, Dada, I have been to Dhaka once, I have a couple of friends who live in Cox Bazar. never visited there but would love to go there sometime. I have many Bihari and Bengali friends and as you know already "Choka" is go to dish for Biharis. I am Indian ( Kashmiri by birth)

Yeah, tell me about that, have personally experienced bad seats in games Cheesy - seats behind the random pillar- lol

About @Elwar : This is bad news but I am sure he can get away with this situation with bribing tbh every system has some kind of loopholes. Just hope for the best.
