Damn, I will have to wait for too long to see bitcoin falling back to $5000 range, or it might never fall back to that range. However, I decided to invest half of my fund to bitcoin three months ago, and actually took profits all. I just have a small regret that I did not invest all my fund into bitcoin. However, for now, I feel I made good decisions to take profits in bitcoin and use money to buy altcoins. I wish you all have a happy week with the bitcoin ride Smiley

imho selling all btc during btc bull season for shitcoins is dangerous. "alt season" is hopefully gone forever. none of alts of the endless shitcoin list on cmc has achieved anything regarding "better tech". bitcoin achieves more every day. if i would be in your shoes i would re-enter in btc and put 80-90% of that stash in cold storage. with the remaining 10-20% you could try to gamble around at the shitcoin playgrounds. if alt season is coming, you have exposure. if not, you have bitcoin.

bitcoin is aiming towards $100k in the next bullrun. shitcoins are aiming towards rekt city. take care.

Hear hear.  FOMOing in and out of shitcoins may gain you fiat but it screws up your capital gains tax exemptions and you pay a fortune in exchange fees.  Most people come out behind unless they are very very good.

Less is more.

Ehi WO, why so slow today?
Here’s something fun: yesterday while browsing down the Bitcoin rabbit hole I stumbled on the infamous keys.lol website:

https://keys.lol
(Warning: time sink!)

Basically it’s a website that randomly generates 128 private keys on each page, then checks the balance of the related addresses (compressed and uncompressed) on the blockchain reporting eventual positive balances or past transactions.

Wow!
If you find a positive balance in this client side generated pages, you are actually owner of the private keys, so you are legitimate owner of such balance, and nothing prevents you from transferring to your own wallet.
The story doesn’t end here... I wrote a post about it here...

nice project!

I run a program on my server which does the same. It checks about 150 addresses per second. It's now running for a few months and I have not found a single wallet with a positive balance.

No way. Bitcoin is only warming up. 600% in 7 months are a bit to much.  Most likely next year.

I’m gonna say no. 2021 - 2022 is a much more realistic target but I’d fucking love to be proved wrong on that.

@Hairy, what’s your prediction for $100,000, as in time frame?

Reading that post you should realise you are wasting electricity.  At least you should consider joining LBC.

Can they really make it any more obvious this market is a giant scam where a single entity rigs the price?  Like wtf?  No markets are this fraudulent on the entire planet that the govt doesn't crack down on (besides the scams they're running themselves), yet this retardedly obvious pump and dump scam has been going on for YEARS where it's ALWAYS a single entity rigging the price.  So what does that tell you?  The govt has done absolutely nothing to attempt to stop Bitcoin because the govt wants you to buy these centralized govt tracking system tokens.

There's going to be some complete idiot like the godless corsair Elwar or Last of the V8s that will claim it's somehow impossible for the govt to stop bitcoin (LOL NO).  All they have to do is block all fiat deposits and withdrawals on exchanges and it becomes completely useless.  Why haven't they done it?  They want you to buy these imaginary digital tokens instead of metals to try and force you into a cashless society slavery system.

Possibly this can be an insight to your question as it has already be analysis by one of our own on this forum, am pretty much in support with this  Grin Grin Grin

Well, I checked and compared the previous halvings just right now:

- Both hyped BTC x10
- Both ATH followed with a crash (or what we call a correction here) during several months

If we continue to compare with the previous halving, the $3,200 bottom we got not long ago was 'normal' or 'predictable'. And if Bitcoin goes up x10 like previously: $8k x 10=$80,000. So $100k more or less is possible, I finally changing my mind and admit it's possible. Even after a 'crash' if BTC ends on $70,000 I will be happy still ^^
