If I were the creators of that site. I would have something built into it that automatically imports the private key from a green-lit found address into my own wallet, but I don't think they did that.

Its like winning the lottery of a lottery if you find one.

You are overestimating greatly the chances of finding something!
Number involved are so big the escape human comprehension!

My "finding the correct atom on the moon" analogy didn't do it for you?

BTW, the folks at Large Bitcoin Collider did manage to find a few addresses, most spent, but a couple unspent. However, they were first searching "low entropy" addresses and haven't found any active addresses since, I don't believe.

Maybe all we need to get past this resistance is a tipping over of the shorts/longs ratio.

I do find it a bit ironic that in the past week, the BTC price on the vast majority of exchanges just kind of synchronized, removing almost all arbitrage opportunities.

For so long they were out of synch, including getting up to $8k-ish.. then all of a sudden they are synchronized.

I am not sure, exactly what it means.  Perhaps some of the drama that caused the out-of-synchness was "overblown" and has been resolved in the eyes of the market.

I do recognize that we have had a whole hell of a lot of periods in which exchanges are out of synch and then  they become in synch and then they are out of synch again.  So, sometimes we do have to exercise some forbearance in attributing too much meaning to any one indicator.

By the way, only 8 more hours before the weekly candle closes, and she doesn't seem willing to turn green.  We would hav to get to a bit above $8,200 for this week's candle to close green

Just wondering have you ever need to use it?

Never had to use it, but there was one situation where I had to make a motion towards my sidearm and command someone "Stay right where you are and don't come any closer" to stave off a situation from possibly escalating to something worse than it could have been.

Was top-down in my baby, and another brother was approaching me on foot, with ill-intent on the face.

I hope I never, EVER, have to legitimately brandish it in defense of myself or another.

Only time I’ve ever used real guns was in Vegas. I fired rounds from a Glock, a couple of automatics & a massive sniper rifle (I’m from the UK, I don’t know my guns).

I really enjoyed it tbh. If I was a US citizen I’d definitely carry & join a shooting range or something.

I think it empowers you, firing a gun.

Don't know what to make of "black head eraser scrub". It sounds like something Michael Jackson would use.

Good Morning, Bitcoinlandia.

Just got back from running around grocery shopping with Rick, and remember; personal hygiene and personal safety are very important to any HODLing regimen.

Stay safe and clean, HOLDers !

Is that a Springfield Armory?

I can offer Monero  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K33PoKM7vOM

Not a shitcoin though  :p

I mean it's a higher tier of shitcoin but still a shitcoin.

It is a shitcoin indeed. Please, lets not discuss its "merits" in here lest I have to stab somebody.

Exactamente!!!!

Who gives any ratts' asses how high on the hierarchy various shit coins are, they are not relevant to this topic.

Have folks here heard about bitcoin or do we just have food bloggers here?   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy There are lot's of things in bitcoin and going on in bitcoin, and regularly, zillions of threads out there in the interwebs that are continuously generating information related to bitcoin - sometimes incorrect, but still, we should have mine field of bitcoin information - and sometimes merely debunking myths should be enough to keep peeps here busy.   Cool

OT: Coming at ya from the "omg-really-you-don't-say" department.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

The stock market would be much lower if it weren’t for companies buying back their own shares
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/05/25/the-stock-market-would-be-much-lower-if-it-werent-for-companies-buying-back-their-own-shares.html

Well to be fair a majority of every day stock buyers have zero fucking clue how the market works.
This hinges on the premise that the lack in demand through buy-backs would not lead to an increased demand due to the lower prices.

Article sounds like FUD aimed to further stress that "the stock market is due for a correction".

Wonder how much of this apparent incompetence in "research" and reporting is coordinated.
