10k will be a strong psychological border, if we break up i would say we are officialy in bull market again lol
We already are in a bullmarket. Been a few weeks now that such transition took place. A few weeks? We've been in a bull market all year. All year? We´ve been in a bull market since 2010. Indeed. 2012, 2014 and 2018 were just bear traps.

I have been wondering if good Hodling is in fact a predisposition.
I have my record decks and records here, my guitars. I've held them all, a long time!
Im holding them to zero lol
Maybe these are reusable skills.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zV40NzkqJrwIndeed. Learned a hard lesson in my youth. Second guitar I ever bought was an Ibanez lawsuit-era ES-175 clone. A good one. In college, I noticed this band rehearsing. No bass player. School had a bass and amp on premises. I offered to sit in on bass. End of the jam, I was asked to join. Sure! No bass. What do I do? Ended up trading the Ibanez (and money) for a bass. Always regretted losing the Ibanez. Hard lesson learned early. Only instrument I've sold since was a wall hanger with no emotional attachment. I Hodl On. Indeed. Incidentally, I still have and regularly play the first-bought guitar.

Because that wouldn't be science
Hairy, you’ve been right on most things so far in this cycle. I love your works Right? I love his work too, but charts are off due to the fact that we are off the 2014-2015 graph. What now? Most likely, we are already on the parabolic rise. The only question is when this local exponential rise ends (and it will end, obviously). To see this, find BETI thread and maybe Peter Brandt's graph here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg50603641#msg50603641. I also had some exponent here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg50479459#msg50479459 , but we did not have the "wiggle" , so it is happening even faster than I expected. IMHO, AH is entirely possible even in 2019, albeit less likely still.

I guess they are. I think it is something that has to do with your first experiences in life: what has been taught by the people who raised you in the first few thousands of your days. Consume vs Invest. High time preferences vs low time preferenceIf you are Hodler, you are able to spot where the value is, not only in Bitcoin, IMHO.

Oh my.
Iceberg out of nowhere. That kinda sucks.
Sheeit.
I'd say I'd work on my tan today, but, well... I'll just sit here and watch Rick turn various shades of pink, then bright red later tonight.
Poolside lounging for us today. So much for my gut telling me about $9k. Probably just tummy rumbling. Down 4 pounds this week after maintaining a disciplined diet/fasting.
HODL strong, HODLers.
Can we get swatches of that? for science? its a 20 thumper march..keep thy hooks sharp and abide

... he sourced and shipped me a number of euro spec thermostats ... I think it was 6 BTC for the parts. Those have got to be the most expensive thermostats you've ever bought... Like my TREZOR, which I bought for 0.13 BTC... Lesson learned: spend fiat first, and BTC only when you absolutely have to. Lol. Mine was 1BTC EDITED POST: 0.27 btc for mine. ordered in jan 2016 according to my core wallet. original post had the btc amount that was my 1st tx to my trezor

Mine was 1BTC just over 4 btc for my trezor here. preordered jan 2016 got it in apr 2016 My ledger was around 0.1-0.2 BTC.... but... right after I received it and played with it I saw the light and the future of crypto for the masses and felt confident enough to buy some more (full) bitcoins over the next few months. I couldn't be more grateful to that enlightening purchase even if it had costed me much more. It basically triggered me to buy more BTC. For my Trezor, some time later, I just additionally bought the same amount of BTC that it was costing me.

My earliest memory is of S1. That was a funky (and super expensive!) little beast, never seen any electronics like this before, basically naked boards.

Yes. There's no point in trying to think how things would have been if you did a single thing differently (ie hodling more or buying more or selling/losing less) as if that wouldn't have influenced your own behaviour or even the whole echosystem. Maybe Bitcoin would have failed, or maybe you would have lost it some time later, or maybe.... Same as there is no point for laszlo thinking he shouldn't have bought the pizzas because: I am sure he had plenty of additional BTC, what did he do with them? Why didn't he mine or buy more after the trade? The price didn't suddently skyrocket right after the purchase. Buying the pizzas was not the mistake. It was a pretty good deal in fact. Let the past be past. Think of the future... it's bright.

Yep, earlier in 2010-2013 period it probably was like being a super early VC round or angel investing. 2014-15 was more like a follow up VC round. Now were are, hopefully, at btc IPO where public en large will start participating. Re pizzas-great idea first time around, but later on the light bulb should have shined on (not sure if it ever did for that particular historical figure). It did for Trace Mayer & other OGs, no doubt.
