Hey jbreher how would you spin EDA and bcash and BSv's current difficulty adjustment algos? what version did that come in?

Well, there's really no way to spin that. That's a change indeed.

Of course, SV is the project where the majority of vocal participants are stating a desire to return to the 0.1 protocol. So if this will come to pass, that will be rolled back. Of course there is no guarantee of future developments.

Meantime, that is a legitimate claim to a protocol change.

You could just, you know, fork the 0.1 protocol.  Go ahead and fork the genesis block. Ain’t no one stopping you.

And if you could sign with it then i'd for one switch to that coin! Cheesy

Any mis- is in your misattribution of ulterior motive to my actions, which causes you to invent things in my writings that are not there.

Huh?  Funny I still see you making misinformation's, and spinning matters.  I did not realize that I was causing it.

Apparently you are all powerful!

Do you posses these!?!

This is a fine indicator to follow during bull and bear markets as a trader.

Some more details on that indicator here, they seem to say that the top call isn't as reliable as the bottom...

Thresholds: Going forward, as market cap decreases in volatility, we believe that the upper threshold of MVRV might not prove as reliable — as market cap overextends less and less above realized cap as time progresses. However, we expect the lower threshold to remain useful to detect Bitcoin’s undervaluation in multi-month periods ripe for accumulation.

Interesting. However when we hit the top I expect to see transactions taking long to complete. So it should be taken into account aswell.

Over the last year a ridiculous amount of hashpower has come online.  It has more than doubled since it's recent low 2018/19.

Who is adding the new machines?

Is there a new chip out there we have not really met yet?

I am seriously been waiting for a big gun like Samsung to start bringing their first chips online.

Even if there isn't a new chip design, the manufacturer can create the existing machines infinitely. I don't believe it really costs anything other than the R&D activities which probably ROI'ed itself many times already.

I gave you a merit for sharing this chart, but...Let me share my thoughts on this. If you rely to much on this chart to sell your bitcoin, there is a higher chance you won't make it as you may think right now. The are a few reasons for this. If you look at the original site and look at that 2nd chart, you can see that it's very hard to predict the right timing.

Those who watched this chart in the previous bull market 2017/2018 have missed the top and didn't sell at the top! Because it simply did not reached the level of the previous tops!

The second thing, if you want to sell a little bit sooner like it happened at the 20.000 usd, you would miss a lot of potential gains if it continues to the previous top levels.

The third reason why this is gonna be even harder to achieve is that many hundreds if not thousands of new traders will look at this chart to sell. Imagine everyone wants to sell at these levels and no one wants to buy there. What would happen? It wouldn't work. So the best thing you can do is that if you really want to sell at those levels, to sell in a dollar cost average method. Even better if you use this chart only as one of your many indicators combined so you can get more accurate the biger picture. That's the best thing you can do.

I know exactly when I'd want to sell my coins.

When they pay me enough.

And by "enough" I mean the amount which'll enable me to experience everything I want in this life.

Till then, I am not fucking selling.

Ain't no one stopping us. Except -- you know -- every last one of us.

You're becoming unhinged, HM. Even moreso.

Oh.  So you don’t want to use the 0.1 protocol.  Make up your mind, Bear !

I have made up my mind. What is it that seems to indicate to you that I have not? More irrationality, perhaps?

Wait so Bitcoin = bad because Segwit is "indeed an alteration of the Bitcoin protocol"

BTC is suboptimal not merely because SegWit is an alteration, but because the SegWit Omnibus Changeset is a net negative alteration.

Quote
but bcash Bsv = good because their shitty changes are "legitimate claim to a protocol change"

One of the things that makes BSV good is that it is being incrementally returned to the original Bitcoin protocol.

Do try to keep up.

I always buy anyway. Today did it too. It is just it would be good to have more of those firesale prices before the big boom.

Already spent $500 on btc  this month. Will have another disposable income of $1000 next week. Probably will feed it to Bitcoin again.

I just remember reading through the GitHub commit timeline for BSV, seeing that they had decided to keep in dozens (or hundreds) of changes made by Core and ABC devs since 0.10. Its really only "Satoshi's Vision" if you believe Wright is Satoshi. That's the only way in which the "SV" portion of BSV makes sense as its pretty far from a return to the original protocol.

Well, other than the fact that it get closer each release.

Don't remember Satoshi ever espousing data storage in the blockchain.

Yet every Bitcoin-derived blockchain is capable of storing data.
