According to what I've seen, Zhan burst into the office with a couple dozen mercs, took it over, and offered bonuses to any employee that would support him. <comic sans> so drama </comic sans> It is not like Zhan does not have a rightful claim to Bitmain's business, as far as I recall of some of the background facts.. and even chinese law likely would support him in that regard, perhaps. Yeah. I've not been interested enough in the drama to try to tease out the validity of the contested claims. From this distance, it appears a proper shitshow. You'd think the gov would have some way of resolving the conflict, but they don't seem interested. Each of Jihan and Micree seem to be able to seize the reins for a turn, and the powers just let them duke it out. So it looks like chinese law is yet to open their metaphorical mouth to speak on the issue. odd.

JJG, can you help me out and tell me what this fucker is trying to say? Any transactions you make now will not be affected by future focus. Even in the future of that hypothesis, you can protect yourself from concentration by using higher composite factors. For example, with an attacker controlling 95% of the output, a 100 + 1 transaction will still be inaccessible 99.4% of the time. This was supported by the protocol and mixed 100 (or more) transactions that already existed on the blockchain.

All this shit in Seattle's Autonomous District is really making me super angry. This country is going full retard.
I wouldn't get worried about that CHAZ shit. It's basically just a bunch of kids having fun by taking themselves seriously. It's really no different than the hippies having a love-in, while it lasts. Eventually it will burn itself out and they'll go home, but some real good may actually come of it. The worst thing is to let it become a Kent State. Let them paint slogans on the street or pass out flowers or whatever. It's the way the grown-ups react that will have the lasting effect. Eventually the Vietnam war ended and Tricky Dicky resigned in disgrace. Let's see how the bumbling reality-TV actor does in this fall's election. Let's see what anti-law-enforcement-brutality legislation results. It's not worth the stress of anger.

^ you underestimate the circumstances of the current generation of protesters. They have been trashed on the economic scrap pile since entering the workforce, not had jobs having a pick of vocations like the boomers. Their income opportunities and prospects are vastly inferior to the hippy's generation. I don't know how it ends but it's not going to be like a love-in winding up with flashbacks, hangovers and pregnancies being the biggest of their worries. It's pretty hard getting people to go back to nothing. Raz from CHAZ is their new leader. He's a gun-toting rap artist ... doesn't sound like Ben and Jerry or Tim Leary. https://www.zerohedge.com/political/seattle-autonomous-zone-now-has-heavily-armed-warlord-governor-clueless PS: not saying they aren't misled/misguided and choosing vague causes that do little to nothing for improving their circumstances.

Culture always moves to the left. Antifa and the like are useful idiots and will be the first against the wall when we get to that part. Then us.
There will be more riots, more violence, eventually martial law, and then gulags. They will be called something else but they will be gulags. And it's getting close.
The change from what we used to consider normal to going full soviet is like a cliff. Once you go over the edge, things accelerate. Even if not this time, then the next in a few years.

Why? It's like Tiennamen square was in the 80's. Fewer people and a bit less insane. Or like those dirt bags who took over a Federal park a few years ago. Except with less guns. No big deal, just ignore them if you don't like it.

That's exactly why i switched to Ryzen. All those "bugfixes" also slow down (lab-) performance of intels considerably. While Ryzen get's maxed out a little sooner when processing multitrack realtime audio, it's at least on par compared to intel as a desktop cpu. It requires tremendous effort. So tiring TBH.
Hate being angry. Takes me a really long time to get over some things, unfortunately.

Seems like the whole of the US went full Trump retard. The states better unite against this coward, as in UNITED States of America.
