- A resurgence in new infections has been detected in Florida, Texas and California. 170,000 new cases in the U.S within one week.

IIRC, Dallas county has had 300+ infections per day, for almost three to four days in a row now. It's up, but slowly stabilizing at a higher value. Was a couple-few days last week where I think they broke records for consecutive days.

Meta: It's troubling to me in a way. I've read reports that it is disproportionately affecting black and brown folk more severely than other races. Evidently there is some genetic component involved, leading to a harsher response to the virus. Sheeit.

In that county I have access to a MAJOR hospital system's trending COVID data.  (access is an understatement)

Unfortunately the numbers are NOT going down, and do not appear to be stabilizing either.  Too early to say for sure... but from what we see all the signs are pointing up.

Majority of sicknesses including Covid is nothing else as wrong nutrition.
Daily intake of about 70% alkaline and 30% acidic food and anyone is as strong as can be. Flu, Covid, Common Cold.... not a worry.

Like a 2 component glue if mix according to instruction its hold well, if mixed wrong and 90% hardener is used or something crazy it will break at first sign of stress.

Acidic food: Seafood, Meat, Cheese, Grains (Wheat, Rye, Rice..), pasteurized food, Milk, Pale Beer, Carbonated drinks (sparkling mineral water, Coke...)
Alkaline  food: Fruit, Vegetables, Herbs/Spices, natural fermented food, Honey, Some Nuts (Chest, Pine, Coco, Hazel, Macadamia), Wine, Draft Beer, Stout Beer, Coffee, Tea...

What else is Acidic, Face Mask as exhaled CO2 (acidic) is partly re-inhaled because mask prevent it from being proper exchanged for fresh oxygen.

Healthy blood pH is 7.35 - 7.45 slight alkali, 7 is neutral, 0 max acid, 14 max basic (alkali), log scale

I knew you will post something like this. Honey, Wine, Coffee and Beer with residue amounts of sugar are acidic, afaik.
Nutrition plays a role for a healthy body, but i think it's too general and exaggerated to fire statements like
Quote
Covid is nothing else as wrong nutrition
.
It's about well known nowadays that health (and spirit) is mostly determined by gut bacteria. Sure, nutrition is influencing gut bacteria, but there are limits.
No need to go into more detail.

Do you think?

I guess we’ll soon find out. I’m fed up of seeing us trade in this range, I’d be a lot happier if/when we clear $10,000 comfortably, there’s no reason for it to be acting as resistance, some kind of weird, psychological sell point for lots of people. I’m looking forward to breaching $11,000 again with 4 digits a distant memory.

Thanks for the guide.  Ginourmous merit pile given.

One complaint.  Probably already mentioned...

"Infinite".  If you put the word virtually in there I think we are more accurate.  Because if we all have infinate addresses, then we all... well have the same addresses.  We just all START from a different point. Wink

@Hueristic

I haven’t took it seriously since day one, I’m a bit of a dick but hey. I was going out 4-5 times a day from the very start of lockdown.

I even bought these online so I could pass as a health worker just incase I got stopped by cops Grin

Covid19 can suck my plums.

I catch this flu at the end of February after partying on Carnival gig somewhere in Spain. All this Covid Hoax was starting. Honestly I took it seriously at that time -  I was wearing mask and all this BS connected with it.
My attitude was simple - let's wait for official mortality statistic and see how strong it is really -3.5% death rate or maybe higher...
Then slowly facts began to arrive. At the end of march  I spoke with friend of mine who has got quite good image what happened on this big holiday ship. They got all data from there. He said mortality rate is probably like 0.2% similar to stronger flu. I couldn't believe that some people decided to shutdown some part of economy just because ordinary flu. I started  watching videos of some serious doctors which were banned from youtube or google. This is how I got image of that what is really going on. Since there every credible data sources is proving this thesis  : Covid19 is not pandemia but IQ test.

BTW amount of censorship in Covid subject is incredible. As I was grown in communism country I still remember really well this dissonance between official propaganda in Media TV and press mainly - as it was end of 80;s and that what people were talking. I have impression of dejavu.

I'm not gonna argue with some of you guys who still think we are in Pandemia. It's bullshit.
I'm not sure if its completely planned - probably as majority o politicians who are in power this days are simply pussies, so for them it was obvious - lock-down.

I'm afraid that way  @LFC  is dealing with this hysteria is best possible choice at the moment.

Don't live in fear, be critical and rational. There is nothing more dangerous outside then our normal life danger. As they say life is most dangerous illness - it always end up with death. Wink

Best guys.

WTF kind of weird science are you on?  Last time I checked, the neutral level on the pH scale was 7.  Anything below was considered acidic and anything above was considered alkaline.  ALL fruits and vegetables have a pH of less than 7, most fruits are extremely acidic.  Did you just make this up today?  This is surreal.  Please stop "helping" us.

N.B. It's a good idea to eat fruits and veggies. Do not ingest glue and/or hardener or subject yourself to stresses that will break you.

Most likely blacks have less vitamin D due to darker skin. Take your supplements.

This makes little sense, somehow.
Afair i read about higher vitamin-D levels in dark colored people, because dark skin better absorbs sunlight.
If blacks are really more endangered, it's more likely a genetic cause to be within scope.

I need to take supplements because of sick intestines, to support brain functionality and overall physical performance. I know quite a lot about supps and which ones to combine under which circumstances, but i found the effects and promises of supps generally to be overrated, if not hyped in the concerns of vitamin-D3. Research is pointing to it as an immune biomarker, instead of a cause or remedy for sickness. Sure, there are correlations with longevity, but not causalisations, at least not proven. The human body and it's reactions are far too complex to make "wonder-supps" plausible.

Actually, you can think of dark skin as sunglasses as the melanin prevents sunlight from penetrating the epidermis.  Dark-skinned people don't produce enough vitamin D in northern climates and therefore require supplementation.  You can always have your doctor do a blood test to check your levels.

 disclaimer: still not a pharmacist.

Yup. Some people are born strong. Some tall. Some smart. Some rich. Life isn't fair. Tough titties. But almost everybody has some opportunity for bettering their economic condition. All I'm hearing from you is a buncha whining about how it ain't a level playing field. No shit. Two choices: 1) Whine and wallow, or; 2) Buck up and expend some effort at bettering yourself.

Now that's only true if you look at it this way.
I was born tall, i was the second smallest kid in school.
Nobody is born smart. Most babies are hindered to grow smart by taking over stupid believes from their trusted ones (parents, idols and others).
Nobody is born rich.

Whatever. What does any of that have to do with the topic of discussion -- the flawed assertion that 'todays generation of protesters' have no opportunity for economic advancement? Jack-squat, that's what.

Thanks cAPSLOCK, glad you guys liked my post, this subject fascinates me, and I enjoy talking about it.

About your comment regarding "infinite", I see what you're trying to say, but still, it's OK to use the word "infinite", as explained below:

Suppose you assign each one of all wallets in existence a unique, non-negative integer ID.

Let's say I have access to the wallets with IDs: 0, 2, 4, ... Inf.
You have access to the wallets with IDs: 1, 3, 5, ... Inf.

You have access to infinite wallets. I also have access to infinite wallets. But none of my wallets have the same ID as any of yours. What this means is that there can be infinite sets that do not share common elements (like the sets of even and odd numbers, as illustrated above).

The word "infinite", as I used it in my Plausible Deniability post, is indeed not accurate, but for a different reason. In reality, the keys belong to a finite (albeit extremely large) set, so the number of wallets in existence is not really infinite. But it's so large that it's "practically infinite".

Unfortunately the numbers are NOT going down, and do not appear to be stabilizing either.  Too early to say for sure... but from what we see all the signs are pointing up.

Greatly appreciate your insider perspective. Thank you, brother.

You're welcome...  And I don't mean to be dramatic about it.  It really is hard to say right now anything more than we are most certainly seeing the biggest surge-let since the start.

Real numbers.

Last week we were at ~63% capacity.  The big facilities in our system (Dallas, FW, Arlington) are now at around 87% of capacity for negative flow rooms.  The smaller community hospitals do not see those kinds of percentages.  And much of this capacity is stuff we built and brought online in anticipation of the surge that really never came.  And today was (I am pretty sure) the biggest day for positive tests so far.

WORST case is this is the wake of Memorial Day weekend.  If that is so we have the combination of the protests, "reopening" and just laxer public habits to look forward to.  I do the shopping for my domicile, and the last week or two people seem to be becoming much more lax about contact/masking etc.  It would be bad, but not as bad if this is the front end of the protest surge.  And best case is it is just a small random bump.

The weird thing about COVID is it does not affect most people overly much, and yet a certain percentage of folks are going to have their lungs damaged.   And we are forgetting how contagious it is because it is so harmless for the majority.

That said...  there are those who think the whole thing is just a big psy-op.  I am not so sure.

But I sure do hope these rising numbers are just a little anomaly, and not the front end of something bigger...
