Stop saying “My Nigga” or I’m going to kneel on your neck for 9 minutes. LOL

If you do, will the whole world start rioting & stealing shit because of my demise?

Probably not Wink

LOL yeah, me either. If someone kneeled on my neck they would probably win a free meal at Denny’s and a six pack of Budweiser.

hahahahaha

True dat.

You had not been too appreciated in the forum in recent times (last year or so), but at least you have not been banned, so far.

How are you feeling in regards to bitcoin? I recall that sometimes you can go through some unreasonably bearish and even worldly pessimistic phases, hopefully you have not sold too many of your satoshis in anticipation for summer shopping or some other out of touch world perspective?   Tongue  **

**Please note that I am largely attempting to razz you and stir your pot a bit, QuestionAuthority, because I had not seen you around in these parts very much recently, so I don't mean any ill-will.. that's for sure, and would not mind getting some kind of on-the-ground QA updates from you (as a BTC OG), even if there might be some variance in our perspectives..  Doesn't hurt to have some variance from time to time.. and maybe some of us might be able to welcome you back by get pissed off at you.. for asserting that you are cashing out a decent percentage of your BTC for early Christmas shopping or some nonsense like that.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I’m doing pretty good Jay. Laying low until this whole death-by-virus shit ends.

I don’t come to this forum very much anymore. It just doesn’t seem valid now. I’m still a bitcoin purist and this place is mostly for shitcoins now. I have a few coins left in cold storage and I’ll probably end up willing them to my kids when I die because I don’t see the million dollars a coin happening in my life time. I got tired of trying to gleen out a few bucks from guessing Bitcoins peaks and valleys. I’m into weed now. Legal marijuana chain stores are where it’s at now. My cannabis shares have even proven to be pandemic proof. People love to get stoned. It’s better than alcohol, more addicting, more expensive, more renewable, easier to produce and cheaper to produce. It even has medicinal value. It’s the perfect investment.

I am not a pot smoker, nor do I drink much anymore (that was kinda hard), but i would take issue with "more addicting".  It is not even CLOSE.  Alcohol is one of the most addicting drugs in existence.  Marijuana, on the other hand, one of the least.  You can build a tolerance to THC, but quitting is not hard for the vast majority of folks.  Nor does it usually cause destructive behavior in it's users.  You cannot say the same at all for alcohol.  It causes loads of damage.

The purists are not going to like it (hell, I suppose i fit that bill to an extent), but this is where the majority of "Layer 2" is going to be.  This, Cash app, etc.  Eventually PayPal and Cash app will both be settling on chains like liquid while they provide centralized layer-2 solutions for their end users.

They have finally realized that they can be to the banks what Netflix was to cable.

And they will be.

Soon.

We are about to enter a fairly accelerated mode here, IMHO.

How does paypal plan on getting around what their own terms of service says about the buying of cryptocurrency even on ebay is prohibited?
A caveat?! Grin

No wonder bitcoin is pumping hard seeing it reach over $9616 in the last hour. Must be the news. Wink

Also, regarding your previous post addressing me: No offense taken. I am aware of the fact that merit fishing is not well liked in this thread. I wrote that because it was my very first post, and it got quite some feedback. You know, for some people, very first times are important...

You sure this is your first time cowboy? I mean, semantically and punctually correct sentences set off alarm bells straight away.

Paypal coin would be the biggest suxxed us you could think of to this news.

Seems to me that many of those services are trying to cause you to go through their app, but they do not allow peer to peer trading, unless it goes through their app....   There is a difference there.  Same with E-bay.. if you were buying and selling from ebay, they would probably feel o.k about going through their app, but if you are using the service to hook up and do a private transactions directly (off the record), they feel vulnerable in allowing or facilitating or being involved in those kinds of direct or peer to peer interactions...

About the virtual machine discussion, are you using a type 1 hypervisor, or a VM on top of Linux/Unix (using VirtualBox or other) ?

I run two headless computers/servers and each is running a couple of VMs, one has enough power to run everything but I need to decide on the hypervisor. One server is running an OpenSolaris derivative (OpenIndiana), it is recommended to use ESXi with it, but I'm not decided yet, I'd like to try a free (as in free software) option. OpenIndiana/Solaris itself has a virtualization layer built in, but only Solaris is really able to run windows and linux VMs as a type 1 hypervisor, and that isn't free.

I am still running a few server clusters on Proxmox 3.4 (last version w/ OpenVZ support).
The newer version of Proxmox has only support for LXC for containers and I dislike it much compared to OpenVZ. Though if you are going to full-virtualize (KVM), I would totally recommend it.
If you have a common storage to your nodes you can even hot-migrate VMs.

Well (referring to rdbase's comment), they can always update their terms & conditions. Fuck this shit.

Alan Turing, the father of theoretical computer science, and the codebreaker of Enigma, was practically convicted to death for being gay, in a country (England) that was highly prejudiced against gay people at the time. Only recently (in 2013) was he exonerated of his "crime"... What the fuck is wrong with this country?

Poor analogy, but that's what's going to happen with Bitcoin, except that it's not going to die, because it can't die. It started humbly, was used and abused for different reasons, was accused of aiding criminality (yeah, blame the knife and not the murderer), buried for dead hundreds of times, its supporters ridiculed and laughed at. And it will soon take its rightful place as the worldwide king of electronic cash, and be praised and awarded by the very same people who wrote it off as useless, just like Turing's posthumous awards. See, science is objective, they can try to fight it, but they can't really win. And Bitcoin is true science at its best.

I’ve tried it all but I’m old school and still think smoking flower is the way to go. I don’t even mind cotton mouth or coughing for 5 min because I held my breath too long. When I say old school I mean I’m fucking older than dirt. Currently my main pastime is looking up how many of my favorite entertainers are dead. I almost cried when David Bowie died. I saw him in concert over 30 times. I’m embarrassed to say how many times I’ve seen Rush perform and now Neil Peart is dead. No chance of a reunion concert for Rush now. LOL I smoked my first bud of Columbian gold in 1975 while watching Chevy Chase on SNL. I bet I made hash brownies before you were born. Extracts are fine and most of the peeps I know vape but it’s not for me.

Older than dirt? What does that make me? You reminisce about Bowie and Rush concerts. For me it was the Beatles and early Grateful dead. Grin

I agree about bud, mostly. My only exception is high-quality hashish. I don't mean some lame Nederhash or bubble hash made from high-THC hydroponic buds. I mean hand-rubbed Nepalese, Kashmiri, or Indian or heat-processed sifted Afghani (preferably Mazar-i-sharif) or Lebanese (Beqaa Valley) from landrace plants, with enough CBD to balance out the THC and give a nice relaxing, happy high. I can even enjoy a better-grade Jamaican gum.

Coughing for 5 minutes? I agree. You've gotta cough to get off. My days of pipes, bongs, vapes, bottle tokes and hot knives are definitely over. I prefer a well-rolled single-paper joint. Weed should be medium chopped with scissors. Budbusters suck. Hash should be lightly heated and crumbled with a small amount of the mildest tobacco. I quit smoking cigarettes 35 years ago but I didn't stop using a little tobacco in my hash doobs.

I don't like eating weed or hash. It makes me sleepy and it's easy to miscalculate doses. The only thing I eat is CBD oil (THC-free) which I use sub-lingually in Mexico to keep my CBD levels up. Cannabis is still illegal here but I can legally buy imported CBD oil.

Back in the day, I used to love the acetylated isomerized honey oil that made you close to psychotic on a pinhead-sized droplet. Now I've put that behind me just like milligram acid doses or peyote doses measured in ounces. Time moves on.

Ok, I’ve learned two things about you. You are an old fucker like me and a connoisseur of the finest herb. I’m not too young for the Beatles or the Grateful Dead I just never liked them (sorry, I know if you’re a deadhead you now want to do me physical harm, lol).

I got hold of some blond Lebanese hash in the 70s and don’t remember two months of my life. I passed out in a park in Downtown Orlando, Florida and woke up in Montgomery, Alabama two days later. You really need to move to a place where herb is legal. It’s an awesome experience to walk into a store and choose to sample from a selection of some great Sativa, Indica or hybrid flowers. They sell handrolls at a shop near me that are nearly an 1/8th and only cost $20. I haven’t heard anyone talk about pinhead T in 40 years. You are old as fuck. LOL

So I was thinking on this whole trump rally thing without masks.
If his supporters all show up and start getting sick and he takes away their right to mail in a vote then how the hell is he gonna get re-elected when they are all sick?

Doesn't much matter. All the BLM/Antifa fucktards should start dying off, en masse, in about a week from all the peaceful protesting.

I didn't think of that, your right they are actually showing up to their rallies unlike trump supporters.

But then again they are wearing masks.
