I can sense across the great biosphere, that one of you is about to have a Mindrust moment. Question is, which one of you is it? So everyone make 3 guesses who they think... I go for Eeeeuh If I wasn’t so emotionally invested in bitcoin I would have sold 25% at about $48,000. This is a disgusting dump, calculate the amount of money we’ve lost in unrealised fiat. This is so much worse than the 30%+ dips in 2017 because of the amount of money involved. I should have sold a load at $48,000 or something but I didn’t. Strong hands I guess, worried hands though.

Nothing would surprise me less than a tweet completion like this: To clarify speculation, Tesla has not sold any Bitcoin but actually did bought the f*cking dip .
Nothing would surprise me more. Nobody and no institution is buying significant amounts at this point. Sellers are just dumping into lazy bidders who haven't removed their careless bids -- i.e. bag holders. Don’t worry. You are going to lose your bet anyway, soon.

Out of merit. Would like to give Toxic some, purely for hinting at a potential bottom forming. I sure hope so

Isn't this where we were before Musk started tweeting a few months ago? If so, this position is exactly where we should be to have a healthy normally evolving not-too-volatile-to-scare-regular-adaptors-away price.
Too much volatility like (most of) the last 2 months will never get BTC out of the speculation zone and into the adoption zone.

There is a part of the tweet missing (no period at the end of the sentence): To clarify speculation, Tesla has not sold any Bitcoin (which should be written with a lower case b) but I did.Who can trust him anymore? This clarification is more like a warning. "To clarify speculation, Tesla has not sold any Bitcoin yet." Nothing would surprise me less than a tweet completion like this: To clarify speculation, Tesla has not sold any Bitcoin but actually did bought the f*cking dip .
Classic Elon trolling at his best. there is nothing classic about Musk at all. He declared himself to be a retard live on national tv, and justified that statement by singlehandedly self-sabotaging himself with his inane backing of random nonsense like clubhouse and doge over the last few months, whilst presiding over a capitulating share price of his own company.

Every major miner has now signalled for the taproot upgrade with at least 1 block. It's takes a little while for their entire operation to signal every block, so we will miss activating taproot this round, but next one it is definitely going to happen. Good news in an otherwise shitty past day. https://taproot.watch/minersAnyone have a good ELI5 link for taproot? I read the ELI25 for taproot and I'm still not 100% certain what it does but I'll give it a shot. It allows for multi sig, time delayed, and a few other types of transactions to happen in many different combinations in a transaction without any new load to the transaction and no way for anyone to know the structure of the transaction. Please, anyone correct me but an example would be: Alice and Bob create a transaction where Alice can get the funds after 1000 blocks alone or earlier with a signature from Alice and Bob. On the blockchain when Alice claims the coins after 1000 blocks nobody knows that Bob was even involved. That is likely oversimplified. One of the key things that people are taking away from this is the process of implementing the upgrade. It appears that the process they chose is confirmed to work with Taproot opening up the future for such well supported upgrades.

This is probably such a policy, because Tesla has high profits and bitcoin is not cheap ... Or I do not understand anything about it.I think you need to be a good specialist to understand this well. And still have a good sixth sense.

It's takes a little while for their entire operation to signal every block, so we will miss activating taproot this round, but next one it is definitely going to happen. Good news in an otherwise shitty past day. https://taproot.watch/minersAnyone have a good ELI5 link for taproot? Currently P2PKH (start with 1) and P2PSH (Start with 3 for example) payments look different in a transaction. But with taproot you would be able to make transactions without being able to tell the difference between payments to scripts, or to public keys. The difference between those payment types gives clues as to what the transaction is being used for. With Taproot enabled it will be more difficult to know that a payment was going to be used in the creation of a lightning channel, for example. The way this works is (ELI5 style) you can COMBINE all the public and private keys into something that looks like a SINGLE keypair and do transactions with that. Pretty nifty because you get all the benefits of multisig without anyone knowing it IS multisig. Currently we leak a lot of information just based on what our transactions LOOK like. So one thing taproot will do is make chain analysis MUCH more difficult. (Or really I should say much less easy lol) Uncly Tony 'splains it here... https://youtu.be/nf_GCdCaQww?t=617
