All futures based ETF are POS. I looked at quite a few, price-wise. Futures based ETF are great for shorting, that's all. They typically pop for a few mo (and not longer than a year) and then go down year after year, no matter what the underlying does, it seems. Please, please, please Biodom, say that it isn't so - since it doesn't sound good. We are surely gonna be fucked if any ETFs are approved. Say "good bye" to lillie fiend - this time for sure, right? Sucks to be a btc bag HODLer.

@JJG..you just don't get it, don't ya?
Bitcoin would be fine, it is the PRICE of that (FUTURES BASED) ETF that would be f-ed up, that's all. "Regular" btc ETF (based not on futures, but on the spot price) would be fine just as well, just like GLD is fine and is largely following the commodity. Alas, futures -based ETFs do not do that (follow the underlying commodity) over long periods of time.
..sideways..for all your buy/sell scenarios, get some education in how futures vs spot work.

Oh? You had me worried there for a wee bit (you patronizing fuck)"Regular" btc ETF (based not of futures, but on the spot price) would be fine just as well, just like GLD is fine and is largely following the commodity. Alas, futures -based ETFs do not do that (follow the underlying commodity) over long periods of time.
Go figure. Smartie pants wannabe. ..sideways..for all your buy/sell scenarios, get some education in how futures vs spot work.
Do you believe such an edumacation thingie-ma-jiggie is necessary? I remember in around mid-July how you were telling us that we were inevitably going down to either low $20ks or below $20ks and that was when we were in the $29k price arena... Your supposed superior edumacation in how BTC prices are workening has not seemed to help you very muchie in the portend-tious sense.

In the debate you are having, although to some extent you come to an agreement that the price or purchasing power of bitcoin will have to flatten in the future, I am closer to JJG's thinking. I'm saying the planet isn't designed to pump forever Well, of course it cannot grow indefinitely forever, but there is a pessimistic view of human growth exemplified by Malthus, and which at least for the moment has been proven wrong. He said that humans grow in geometric progression and food production in arithmetic progression, so that food shortages would not be long in coming due to lack of resources. When he was alive, there were 1 billion people on earth, today there are 7 billion who are generally much better fed and have a much higher standard of living in terms of consumption of goods and services. But yes, I suppose there has to be a limit to growth and it cannot be infinite, what I doubt is whether we are putting how we imagine the limit very short.

if you are willing or able, you can borrow the mobile phone of your wife, gf, child or parents for these few minutes and quickly take a photo that's how it was in my case too, and certainly with the other two bros as well I've heard that some people possess a new kind of device where they have separated the picture taking functionality from the phone into its own module. My sources say that this may be called a "camera"

(disclosure: I own and often use an AE-1, somehow I can still do better with that than anything digital)

Knock Knock $59k anybody home?
It's 5:15 in the morning atm, drinking a cup of coffee while observing $59K. The gym opens at 8:30, 3 hours to wake up for some hardcore iron pumping.
