Sometimes it's nice to have a lazy Saturday. I was relaxing on the couch this afternoon and listening to all sorts of BTC YouTube podcasts / debates. The last one ended up talking all about NFTs and how they will continue to explode even though they were talking about billions of NFTs and how "everything" will be tokenised. What exactly is the value then and thus the point of having it? I. just. don't. see. it. Maybe it's me. But let people fart around with all that if they want, maybe I'll miss out, I don't really care if I do. I still think BTC will be king in the end and replace gold within the next few years in marketcap but then also continue to grow. Partly because of scarcity, partly because it is much easier to get ahold of than almost anything else and partly because everything else inflates (including many altcoins!). I think the fact BTC is so rare and doesn't inflate over time really has not caught on by the masses who simply think "well what about this token that I can have far more of?" etc. Over the next week I'm off to have some fun paid for with dirty fiat so might not pay much attention if we are in for a rocket boost or a temporary jump down. After all a man is supposed to live and not just exist.

Last one I checked a while ago, the price was about $40k.. Buy @ $45k, sell @ $35k.. GTFO.. Id love to use one just for the sake of it, but not with spreads like that.. Insane..

No one elaborates the number-go-up-number-go-down narrative better than you Jay.

After all a man is supposed to live and not just exist. I will suggest that you seem to be onto something BitcoinBunny in regards to claims that something seems to be wrong in NFT-landia.. because hey they are playing off the rare and one of a kind ideas, and to suggest that the scam-shit projects are more scarce and rare than bitcoin, yet part of the picture is being missed in terms of Bitcoin's whole package of both security and even a chain or 21 million bitcoin or 2.1 quadrillion satoshis.. and even if there seems to be a lot of bitcoin/satoshis, they end up being more rare than the various crap projects because bitcoin is secured... and even the lack of uniqueness in each bitcoin/satoshi resembling another bitcoin/satoshi causes it to be both a fungible rarity and a liquid rarity - and sure maybe some other attributes that I am failing to describe, too. i like the liberty btc has given for fiat prisoners
A pretty small minority of liberated fiat prisoners, so far... and sure it is still not too late for normies, even if there is a lot of being trapped in your own hopium that things are going to continue as they have been for the past many years.

I liked this snippet from the link above. PS, If you’re feeling good reading this, you are probably on one of the tail ends. If you’re offended, you’re probably in the center. I didn't feel offended. Quite the contrary. Does that make me a derp? Depends on your own personal journey and its development. I for one think that we should all feel like special snowflakes and be appreciative that we have meet and have our little group-nest-thingy here to troll the unaware sheeple that read these mighty threads. I for one knew of Bitcoin in January-February 2010, but did nothing about it, because it took me at least till 2011-2012 to understand it, not because I didn't understood in 2010, but because I didn't believed in it and was skeptical of it like of some magical 'Ad campaign' from some unknown entity that wanted to profit from the gullible many. (But I was not optimistic enough back then, and I didn't buy at 0.01$ or 0.1$, I had to wait a few years, then it went to $1100-1200$ and I had to wait a few more years, till I could start buying in at 200$, at that point I didn't care if it went to 0 or almost nothing, but I just wanted a piece of the future as limited as it was.) Anyway.... now I'm into 'quantum-coins' I call them. The ones that are so tiny, that are not even listed anywhere. I still believe in Bitcoin, I hold like 10% < > 80% depending on the market swings. But I moved on to other affairs. So I guess 'Yes', it is another way of dealing with things, and feeling 'the chosen ones' from one endeavor to another. But as I experienced, the best things always come from the "honesty of into the believe", and I describe this honesty of belief concept as that time when you take into consideration your own beliefs, the beliefs of others, the future others and God, then decide to believe in that concept and invest your 'efforts' into it. So I guess.... its kinda like asking the blessing of the Universe to let you apply its own way of being.

We seem to have hit a weekend patch of profit taking, which was to be expected. I think once the sellers are exhausted and the buyers are back in the office on Monday, we'll see a reversal. At the moment I'm thinking that Tuesday will be the day we break to a new all time high and set off for the next resistance point (if there is one). It would be a bit of a disappointment if this rally failed to produce new highs, and I don't think the big boys would let that happen. This could very well be the last stop before the six figure destination of this train.

Full disclosure: Took profits @ $61k. Putting it into a joint account for Rick and myself to buy toys and equipment for the ranch, as things start coming online, soon. Feel bad that all the corn I'm selling is going directly into my accounts (feel bad about needing to give Rick my financial login info to reconcile everything for this project...), and putting this batch into the joint account for ranch needs takes a fucktonne of stress off the both of us. Really don't want to draw down on our existing fiat investments to support the ranch. Will consider drawing down on those as needed, after the ranch is built and we're living out there full-time - 10 years ish.
Next sell target set for $75k, then $100k, then we sit back and re-evaluate our lives.
Gotta buy ourselves one of those jacked up monster pickup trucks that are capable of traversing the entire ranch to start... then a tractor... Oh God... it starts...
