good grief

has WO fallen so far so soon? or has it been taken over?

its like a 1st cycle "crypto bros club" in here:  "im not selling!! you selling??" "dont worry!!!!!!"   "HoLD/HlOD/HOLD strong brother!!!"  oooonlyeeee UUUUUP from here!

pfft

just look at the OGs here in this thread. theyre the ones snoozing through this whole thing and talking about the weather, haikus and rusty pipes. we are not worried.
These days I am really bored by people opening whole book clubs on single day % movements. Asking why it is going up or why it is going down. It is like you'd ask me why it is raining today and sunny tomorrow? Normal weather behavior, normal market behavior.

Don't people have nothing better to do? Life is so precious and so short..

It is even funnier because it is most likely this was because the GDP numbers were revised up. Economy doing better? Dump! And had they revised it down... economy doing worse? Also dump!! Funny because it is just standard September behavior as with most years but some are panicking and others are writing a university thesis on why the price moved.  Cheesy

Perhaps I should have waited till Sunday to post this, and I haven't tested it a lot yet. I'm also planning to make it modular.  Not even really sure what's in there or how it works. It's a little joint between me and AI.  It's a work in progress so far.

If this URL frightens you, I encourage you not to be frightened. It has the cAPS seal of safety approval. But I don't blame if you don't want to click on it.

I'm rich beyond my wildest dreams, but the bitcoin price still continues to be a source of disappointment.
And you can put that rusty pipe down.

You are opting for the batslappening rather than the rusty pipe?

hahahahahaha  - trying to take the easy route, I see.   Angry Angry Angry

#nohomo

What are your thoughts?  Do you have any thoughts?

I would say that surely it is a decent example of how victors are able to rewrite or attempt to rewrite history.

In the past few days, I have hears some mainstream pundits questioning the extent to which the Democrats might have attempted to go too hard in prosecuting Trump and/or the various January 6th criminals - as if all of a sudden DJT had not attempted to incite a riot in violation of constitutional principles and other norms..

Of course, Trump was elected, so he has been able to go back through and rewrite and attempt to rewrite history in his fantasy ideas about law and order as if he were some kind of a supposed saint (and victim of a process), even though he has a lot of his own problems, which surely are questionable in terms of a person who is supposed to be a leader and supposed to represent the people .. but yeah, he is able to weigh in quite influentially to be able to attempt to re-describe legal standards to the extent that legal standards continue to exist within a Trump-way-forward path beyond cronyism and sucking Trump's dick, as if those were meaningful standards in which a modern society should be run?

Perhaps I should have waited till Sunday to post this, and I haven't tested it a lot yet. I'm also planning to make it modular.  Not even really sure what's in there or how it works. It's a little joint between me and AI.  It's a work in progress so far.

Interesting.  Why wait until Sunday if the thing is "ready" for launch?

I am not sure exactly what it is, but perhaps it is taking some post, or combination of posts and re-writing the ideas in a haiku format.

My own off-the-cuff reaction is that to me it seems that it would be good if the tool were to link to the original referenced post (s) (and/or mentioned the actual member(s) who posted such depicted thoughts on such referenced date(s)).

on hourly chart, every time bellow  50% fibbo measurements...with tiny buyer pressure on 109 ranges, still buying...

Well done. This elevates the general culture level of the WO, which was already quite high.

It did have a couple of misfires adding extra syllables but I can tell that it's trying.

Fuck webpages anyway, in their vision people will not visit webpages anymore in the future, they will just ask some shitshippiddi for everything.

That's a scary thought. How will the shitshippiddi show me the latest with the Pacific Coast chapter of the Taylor Swift official fanclub? I like to visit it on the website because I know where everything is already.

I will be selling copper next week and getting more dip.

My silver continues to moon upwards.

and silver now has a far far far larger market cap than btc.

I will be selling my 10 kilos plus in silver and convert it to btc.

A small retort: 2.604 tril (silver) is NOT a far far far bigger number than 2.186 tril (bitcoin), unless you think that 19% is far far far.
If you do, then, sure, but it sounds a bit as what Peter Schiff would say.
We shall see.

Messing around with all this has also made me realize that the amount of robot traffic happening on websites like this one must be through the roof. I haven't looked at any stats, but it's gotta be going bananas.

It's not storing all this, some of it's doing in real time, and I can only imagine that the amount of electricity and bandwidth that's being take up just by robots crawling websites nowadays is crazy. At some point, it's going to be more than us.

I know that there are good likelihoods that I am interacting with bots, sometimes, an so frequently, I will try to keep up my antenna in order to identify such, and/or to perhaps pay less attention if I think that I am not dealing with a real person.. but it still can be difficult to know, since there are some real people who also write like bots (perhaps they are translating their posts, which might be a bit more innocent than having the bots write their posts completely).

So, yeah, figuring out who are the "us" is not always easy and/or obvious.

Perhaps I should have waited till Sunday to post this, and I haven't tested it a lot yet. I'm also planning to make it modular.  Not even really sure what's in there or how it works. It's a little joint between me and AI.  It's a work in progress so far.

Nice idea, but the two "haikus" it served me were not haikus...

Details.  Details.

Aren't you sensitive? hahahahahaha

Expecting a bot to know what is a haiku?

I don't know, vapourminer.

The level of panic is not always obvious, since we know that historically there have been way more mindrusts than just mindrust, but they don't say anything, and maybe they even do a slightly less extreme variation of mindrust.

There have been times that I thought that maybe I should take a bit more off the table.

So, my conclusion, is that it can be difficult to control some of our worry, even if we are in a pretty damned good place, we might end up spontaneously end up selling 20-40% of our stash, and then rationalizing that we did the right thing, when it should have had been fairly obvious that we over did it, and maybe we were too heavily invested in bitcoin, but maybe at the same time, we would have had been better to just take 5-10% off the table rather than taking 20% to 40% off of the table.

I am pretty confident about my various systems, yet even I have some doubts from time to time in regards to if I might need to tweak (even in relatively extreme kinds of ways).

And, even mainstream services sometimes do not help.   There have been times that I had been cut out of some of my exchanges, or even places that I held my coin end up seeming to harass me (of course, jumping through hoops to keep the service, and sometimes wondering if it is worth it or if my providing more information is a kind of trap).      so right now, I can say that i am keeping some liquidation avenues open, but I sometimes wonder if some of them might dry up.... which sure might not be a bad thing to then be stuck with peer to peer exchange of bitcoin, yet when I travel I sometimes look for places to buy and/or sell bitcoin (even selling for goods or services), and it can be a bit depressing to find difficulties with folks who claim to buy/sell bitcoin, but when you inquire further, they really don't.. or they have multiple hoops in terms of calling in advance and making sure that the right person is available and blah blah blah..

Some (JJG?) may remember when i said it's all (= my holdings) for the kids to spend when i am no more. This goal and according mindset saved me a lot of sweat, fear and anger in this market.
It will be more fun, if you and your kids spend together.

Sometimes, it can be frustrating dealing with real people about the value of bitcoin.

Sure.  Spending bitcoin is fun, yet at the same time, when we are dealing with people who we are trying to teach financial responsibility and good financial habits, frequently, spending bitcoin is not really the habit that we should be teaching them... and some folks (including young people perhaps moreso to grow  out of the habit, but it exists with adults too) have such difficulties to employ low time preference behaviors, which should be part of the whole package of knowing about bitcoin in a practical way that goes into a cycle or two or even longer, depending upon financial circumstances...
