I think it will be hard to pass the 680s.looks like that is a magical barrier because most people bought there and now try to get out without a loss because they lost trust in btc.

It's just normal trading in a thin book area. People are buying and selling and some of the buyers don't really care about a 1% price premium. Not everyone is a daytrader.
What! I thought everyone was jointly day trading and manipulating the price, while banning China and drawing dinosaurs, you mean to tell me there's people who just want to buy some coins on a monday morning I sense some sarcasm Everyday a few persons decide to buy a few bitcoins or more for diversification, to make a profit or because they like the protocole, his potential and they want to make a statement and support the whole decentralised idea And buying some goodies, services and don't forget drugs

It makes sense. The ones with no trust in btc are weak hands and will fail to hold.

It's a poker term long before "penny stocks." It means you lack confidence in you ability to play.

Weak hands are people who buy because they see btc as a "quick get rich" scheme but don't understand power of Bitcoin technology. If they don't get rich very quickly, they lose trust and they sell.

Bitcoin is supposed to be about creating a decentralized network to change the way the world does finance and payments - not about getting all the bitcoin participants to be rich off of the successive waves of bitcoin participants because the unit value rose and having a contest about who made the most profits.

I know that I'm a trader but I acknowledge that Bitcoin is about much more than trading. Underdog on the other hand, makes posts implying that every other bitcoin participant is a trader so everyone who is selling is doing so out of a weak trading strategy.

All this G.Hash business shows is that the community can come together and fix/create solutions. The longer bitcoin survives the more competition, and strength it shows.

In reality is about both though, as well as many other things. What Bitcoin was supposed to be does not dictate what Bitcoin is used for, perceived as or will become. Bitcoin is many different things to many people.

Ghash situation is not bullish. I see that no action has been taken to improve the protocol so that such a thing doesn't happen anymore. It is getting swept under the rug again. It's like nobody wants to write code anymore.

Well this is a speculation board after all. Maybe he's writing for those participants who take the time to read through price speculation posts on a message board rather than the "other" bitcoin participants?

When you say scam coin you mean BTC ? it was BTC that got stolen? It looks as though this was the work of a scammer, using the technology of BTC and maybe the name of a person who has done some work with Nxt (not even a dev) and it may or not have actually been John, from what I can see it looks to me like he got hacked.. but maybe not and there is more to it... but eitherway "25% discount on BTC/NXT please send your BTC" would have had my spidey senses tingling big time... that risk/reward did not make sense.. in fact the entire communications supposedly from John did not make much sense.. So your comment makes no sense, unless by scamcoin you mean BTC. Eitherway, sucks to see the work of total arseholes in crypto.
