For ethman, isn't that already available at bottom of dashboard? - total hashrate is same as average hashrate no?
Send config.txt send the file to Claymore folder on that target rig. You need to restart for new settings to take effect.

BTC mining monitoring - yes, i do use that "mmonitor" utility for S5, S7 but after getting the S9 - everything went bonkers. By then, I choosed to host my S9s to Cryptoboreas so they will monitor for me. They have a custom script to talk to cgminer and reboots the inactive miner and the utility sends me an email to confirm that miner was restarted and now status online.

Alternatively, there is a Windows software called "Awesome Miner".... http://www.awesomeminer.com/ -- it monitors and managed AMD GPUs and also Antminers - includes S9s --  its not free though.

Also see Minera, https://getminera.com/

By average hashrate, I meant average during time, for example since last reboot.
We have it in the pools, and it make sense due to luck factor.
After re thinking about it, most of the time this information inside ethman would not be relevant as the rigs are expected to show stable hashrate.

Thanks for the ideas , I 'm goint to take a look.
In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

I am going to setup my first RX470 rig.

I am planning a 2nd GPU farm with RX470 in mind for cost effectiveness.

The 2nd GPU farm was a plan in the works with Pandaminer in mind but I decided to test a few 470 rigs for now, since smOS will probably cut most of the ramp-up time.

7 x RX470 with PCI splitter, on a normal H81 mobo, 1840/4GB/smOS

I am looking at Sapphire or MSI 470 and 1300w EVGA.

Phil - MSI 470 / 4GB  or wait for Vega?

Phil - MSI 470 / 4GB  or wait for Vega?

I love the msi 470 4gb card ,but I sold all of them  and found good 8gb cards.

My house is all rx 480 8gb  other then the panda miner

If you can find this deal

http://www.diamondmultimediastore.com/radeon-rx400-series   8gb blower style for 199.99

I think it is better then this

http://www.provantage.com/msi-rx-470-gaming-4g~7MST929R.htm  red led gamer for 175.35

175.35 x 1.2 = 210

21.5 x 1.2 =    25.8

so  the msi  stock bios  is 175.35 usd  + a few bucks to ship  it does about 21.5mh

those diamond cost me 199.99 usd 0 ship   they will do about 26.2mh

so for me  the diamond 8gb are a little better.  cause they cost me 199.99 + 0 shipping

the msi cost me about 175.35 + 6 ship =  181.35

diamond is a little louder and hotter.  but I will put them in the solar array next week so noise is not an issue.

Pay attention to a move towards  8gb gpu coins  that are low market cap .

I still see gpu/pc   war against asics  continuing .

make sure you have at least ½ in 8gb gpu's

Which pci splitter do you use ?
I made a test with one in the past , but it didn't work unfortunately.

Thanks Phil -- the blower reference style 480s are hard to get nowadays.

Turns out that they are still best for heat dissipation.

I still hung on to my Sapphire RX480 Refs - glad I did not sell them.

If price difference is not great - might as well go for 480/8GBs vs 470s.

The 2nd farm will focus on ETH mining - so 8GB probably will be better and future proofing the farm for ETH at least in 2017.

This will also position it for better for other memory intensive algos after ETH-POS in 2018

I have 2 x rigs currently with 7 x GPUs on H81 mobo.

Easy to get it working on Linux but Windows is tricky, but I got it working with Win8.1 before.

Works well with smOS but you need 1600w PSU because you need to have enough cables to power the risers... otherwise your need to do the PICO+server PSU style method.

oh man..... you got to google it for full details, or visit yun9999's thread.

Basically, it simplifies the PSU connectivity to bare minimum to motherboard... just like what you have done to your rigs with server PSUs.

sell them and get a gpu setup.

plus hold some coin.

5 av6 = 16th-18th

that is  .2855 btc a month   power = almost 5k-watts

13 gpus rx  480 8gb will earn  about   .7 btc  using  about 2k-watts

The pico PSU seems very interesting, I would like to order some but who to buy from ?

The YUN999 thread is very interesting too, it's a lot to read. I've not read everything yet but it seems that there is no pico PSU (gpu mining dedicated) seller yet ??

I have held back  as I would want one of good quality.

I also won't do 2 psu  build other then  1 pico with 1 server.

finksy should have a kit soon  I would love to test one.

my two diamond rx 480 8gb blower cards come in on fri I will post them when they come.

I prefer sgminer-gm for Eth, too.

What are the pro ?

sgminer has failover command settings - this is useful in smOS because if you use Claymore ETH miner, you need to edit the epools.txt in the miner folder.

Hey wolf - are your updating your v0.4 XMR miner anytime soon?

On sgminer-gm for ETH, you are the 2nd guy who mentioned that to me (to solve my powerdraw issues)... can you recommend a low intensity mining sgminer-gm command line for me?

I have RX480s (Sapphire Reference) with Heliox 28MH low power custom rom.

No - wolf-xmr-miner has been superseded by sgminer-gm, which I also worked on.

For sgminer-gm - try xI 1024? I use it on linux, have gotten 33MH/s max, but keep them at 31MH/s.

thanks - will try it out that xi 1024 for ETH.

For XMR I use xi 1008 w8 --- very stable -- runs for days and weeks without issues.
