I have two question about simpleminer OS :

-is it possible to use different "bats" (custom miner option) for the different rigs in the same dashboard ? or do we have to make different hashboard with different mail address if we want to split between few pools or personnalize settings per rig ?

-is it possible to read past logs ? because I see a rig sometimes reboot when I'm away, I guess a GPU sometimes hang, but I don't know which one as I'm not in front of it when it occurs.

as of now multiple emails if you want rigs doing  say eth and zec

Well I sold a coin to coinbase today.

I may sell  some rx 480's    maybe  list them after tax season.  Say April 19th  next weds.

I did get a fourth nvidia card.

I will have a 2500h 4 card rig  pulling 810 watts  and run it

not sure about core unlock..

I think 378.78 driver may be better.

my entire rig is about 220 watts for 1 1080ti  at 70% power   giving 716 h  on th better   aorus 1080 ti

vs same watts  but 660 h on the zotac 1080 ti fe.  same settings.

I do have a 1500 watt titanium psu from rosewill
since I do 3 soon to be 4 cards  I am well under the 1500 watt max so my psu is 93-94%

I have a i5 6400 t cpu also a power saver and finally 1 stick of ddr4 ram a power saver.
along with a 128 gb samsung ssd.

this could be why a get 220 one card at the wall vs you getting 293 one card at the wall.

I’ll have to hunt around for another copy of Afterburner, I see in your screenshots you have version 4.3.0:

Core Voltage
Power Limit
Core Clock
Memory Clock
Fan Speed

I also have version 4.3.0, but see:

Core Voltage (Locked)
Core Clock
Shader Clock (Locked)
Memory Clock
Fan Speed

So presently I can't adjust the power limit  Huh Would like to play with that setting before changing drivers.

My watts meter might not be that accurate, I have 3 and they all tell a different story +/-30 watts sometimes.

Couldn't resist ... have another 1080ti arriving tomorrow, might move a few RX470 8gb cards on to pay that bill.

hey OP, your stuff is ready, will arrange a pickup.

some may know that i've been EXTREMELY bz, sincere apologies from my side for the long delay.

hope you don't mind if i "spam" your thread Tongue *DEL as appropriate if it's too spammy*

since you are on nvidia, here are some pix . . . for everyone's viewing pleasure

nicely sleeved just for you mate !

a bunch of them being modded & to be delivered to "someone" here in the thread heh

area51 test station before delivered.

unboxing ... tbh i was really tired but well i went ahead unboxed & started to build this nice PC for 1 of my friend. Lovin' the NVMe SSD, i'm planning to get 1 for myself too. this mobo has 6 slots but not sure if it will work for all 6 gpu but from experience MSI boards are pretty friendly & should work.

1080 is really a HUGE & HEAVY gpu but tbh, i'm starting to like it by just looking at it haha, most likely for my desktop (below) this RYZEN CPU is AMAZING, no regrets getting it. too wide & tall so i made it round.

twins ? AMD vs Nvidia ? we go side by side & top & bottom (1st power up & it lights up !)

been a very long night, sun is rising at this part of the world very soon time to get some rest. unfortunately i still do not have the opportunity to test out the AWESOME power of a 1080 as i have to pack the nice pc & get it shipped out ASAP. maybe someday but i do get the idea while following your thread.

Hello once again Capt!  Looks like you have been a really busy man.  Really digging the pico mobo power supply.  That will come in real handy building mining rigs. esp with a server psu and breakout board. Also admiring your latest pc build. What a beautiful machine!!  Are you selling those pico psu?  Hit me up in a pm. I've got so many server psu that I could repurpose with a device like that. Put my old wiibox psu's to work again. Would just have to get some breakout boards ordered or built That would adapt to those psu.  Nice to see your still at it. Talk soon when ya don't have your hands tied.

Hey Philipma, quick question, how do you source your hard drives with Windows operating systems?  I need like 5 of them, but am having trouble getting my hands on them.

It all depends on if it is a real pc or a miner.

if all it does is mine  I use small used ssds on eBay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/LOT-OF-10-MICRON-P400e-64GB-6GBPS-SATA-1-8-SSD-FOR-HP-2530P-2540P-2730P-/382012380100?

these will need a proper cables/adapter but will be good for mining only  17 each

Adapters are two or three bucks.

So 20 a drive grab the ten. And have spares.

  send me a pm.
I will need your mobos  to make sure they work with the ssd/software.  As the registry has to be set  to get keys to stick.
Takes about 90 minutes an ssd.

Are you in the USA?

I am not sure why people are obsessing with Windows.
Get a single Linux CD (if you don't want to download) or usb and install on 50 machines..much higher uptime and NO idiotic restarts (granted, this is more of a Win 10 problem).

wow -- this is a good catch Phil.

Funny that the m2sata lot of 10 you found previously is like 10 bucks -- so cheaper than this - but need mobo that support m2.

EDIT: my bad, the m2 were 8gb ones vs this nice small ssds 64gb - more than enough for smos.
