Each time a block is mined, 45% goes to the winning miner or pool. 45% is sent to the active masternodes and 10% is reserved for the treasury.
A correction: based on my experience with other masternode coins, I'd say that for each block 45% of the block reward is sent to one (winning) masternode, selected randomly from the active ones.

Halo Platform is one of the fastest Blockchains I've seen yet. They have FREE transactions. 250 Millisecond Block speeds. Smart contracts, Masternodes, blockchain games, and their own high speed DEX with BTC/ETH/USDC pairs. Similar to ETH, Waves, EOS, and more yet with only $1 million mcap. This video showcases the speed and reliability of the blockchain using the DEX, Masternodes (that will soon payout in BTC and ETH), blockchain games, and more! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g74d3ixX7E8&feature=youtu.be

@HLM Team
Any reason you didn't just put the necessary premine funds into the Genesis Block, versus this "we need to mine for weeks" approach?

I don't believe they've said they are "mining for weeks". I'm just speculating ... those coins have to come from somewhere. Maybe a dev will pipe in and indicate what they are doing. M

M Right, which is my genesis block question. You can have the very first block award any amount you want and then go back to the normal emission for future blocks, it's actually quite simple.

They also need some time to rise/adjust the difficulty

helium is already on exchange, on cryptopia but the wallet is not ready yet, you need for the launch date to happen before you can deposit and trade, be patient

They also need some time to rise/adjust the difficulty Another reason is to build blockchain to certain length, with ASICs high hash rate, you will get multiple orphan chains that will be difficult to reach conscientious if you start from genesis block. Don't worry about "premine", HLM team already said they will burn it. Just be patient, I am also waiting to buy the dump, if any.

I wasn't suggesting a premine that's unscrupulous, but it is how they're generating the HLM to credit to SPR snapshots.... And you don't need weeks to adjust difficulty, all of this could be easily done in a weekend, there are numerous difficulty adjustment algorithms that could be patched in rather simply, and it doesn't take weeks to do. Just launch your own test coin guys, this stuff is actually way simpler than it appears if you know a tiny bit of C++, linux command line, and how to compile software. There are numerous step by step guides out there. Chain length has zero to do with anything, difficulty and difficulty retarget time is all that really matters - and again, you don't need weeks to solve that problem. You may need weeks to await your ASIC farm to arrive though. Most professional projects have this shit 90% figured out BEFORE launching. I've got a ton of HLM (er, IOU HLM that is), believe me I want it to succeed, but the lack of professionalism in managing this project is really starting to show. It's been 8 months since HLM officially became a thing. Taking weeks and what looks like it will turn into over a month to release a wallet is embarrassing.
