Interesting, Price increase on July Batch -- now $1644, up from $1370
Robbing Peter to Pay Paul. Who do you think is paying for partial refunds? I suspect this price increase is because of the expected increased demand now that it looks like Segwit is a 100% sure thing at this point. LTC already up on Poloniex. Looks like the May batch was quite the Deal if they ever decide to ship them out.
Heck yeah it is.

When Bitmain holds the delivery date at May 5th. - or a little bit later - then the owners have a real chance of a fast ROI (maybe 3 month or a little bit more...) For the July order you have to pay more and get them later - May price $1370 / July price $1644 now Have ordered only one from the may batch - annoying. Cannot reach bitmain.com at the moment from Germany, anybody likes the company and show this on a special way...?

What do you guys think is the best way for me to finally resolve my issue? A May order that was bumped to July. Get a refund and lose 200euro in fees. Or get the miner in july and a discount in next purchase, maybe even a free power supply for it? (If I can get them to agree to that)

I am confused and haven't really been following what is going on a whole lot, can someone explain how they went from being big bad company to now these are a great deal?
Here's the summary: - Bitmain listed the first two batches of the L3+ for a very low price, with a seemingly fast ROI time.
- Instead of shipping the first batch on April 15th, they lied about a "firmware bug" and used the massive hash power to block LTC segwit signaling for this period.
- Charlie Lee and the miners met and there's an agreement now to signal segwit.
- Bitmain is one of the companies who have agreed to segwit, but as of yet the new hash power is still in their hands and is still being used to block segwit this period.
- The price of the L3+ has gone up, presumably because the urgency of smashing segwit is gone.
- Predictably the difficulty went up (nearly 30% in the last period).
So as things stand, if you bought machines from the April 15th batch, you potentially got screwed because Bitmain used your money to pursue their own agenda. That said, they supposedly offered compensation (minus electricity) or a refund. If you bought machines from the May 5th batch (like I did), then you got a good price. But they haven't shipped yet, so it's anyone's guess what might happen. They could claim some other made up problem and offer a refund rather than honor the bargain price. The fact that Bitmain would stoop to faking a good deal, taking early adopters' money, and affect the protocol development of a coin, lying about it the whole time, really points just how evil they have become. I know there are people who will always buy from Bitmain if they think they can make a profit. But remember that the only guaranteed winner in that relationship is Bitmain. They have proved that they can do whatever they want with your money. After this, I'm not playing Bitmain's game any more. Hopefully what I have will keep running. And if I get itchy, there's always other alt mining.

^this....no one is denying that Bitmain are not cocksuckers. They have been playing everyone since the start...their own customers, the markets, and even Charlie if they don't end up signaling in the next 24 hours...

Trading in promises is alive and well 5 years after first asic came out. Those who still hope think bitmain is great those who lost hope think they suck. Of course the flow from one camp to the other is one directional. Since bitmain knows how many units they made, sold, and have left and buyers don't no one will ROI in a month or even 3 months. That's not how it works. That's not how any of this works.

I think of them as muff divers myself not cocksuckers. I did not buy an L3 from them and wrote this thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1866055.0as of today no gear delivered. Maybe they used everyone's payment to buy LTC and then dump it at a profit. Or maybe they held all that coin in btc which went from 1175 to 1250 since the sales started

The pics are antminers. You can tell because they have a sticker that says antminer right on it. These were just taken off of bitmain's site. You can see the name bitmain on the PSU in one of the pics. What all that says about the "Dihao" miner, if it exists I don't know, but there were other people making large hashrate scrypt miners a year or so ago but they were pretty power hungry and LTC was not worth as much. EDIT: I also just noticed it calls it an L3+ dominator basically trying to piggy back off of both bitmain and innosilicon. Seems like a scam with that many inconsistencies.

Correct my when i'm wrong... When i take a look to the Bitmain Shop today, it looks like they now sale how many Bitcoin Miners (S9, T9 without PSU, T9 with PSU) they can, to make space in their mining facilities for the L3+ preorders to mine until July... Lets take a look to the Litecoin difficulty within the next weeks - if have no good feeling...

Glad that bitmain started producing litecoin miner and hope that is the reason we see some movements in the price of litecoin, either way it is good to see some rally in the coin as it was stagnant for a very long time. Hope with the support of a big production house like this they will boost the price to market their product.

Dat difficulty though...
In the next day and a half it will be up another 16%. The result will be a 54% total increase in a little more than a week.
