I think it's very risky. Promoting someone so inexperienced in coaching to head coach takes courage and a lot of hope. If Xavi goes wrong, it will be very unpleasant for Barca. It just shows that famous coaches do not want to break away from their seats in clubs and risk their professional reputation in order to try to pull Newcastle not just from the bottom of the standings, but from the relegation zone in general. I too read it and this is one deal that might happen, because Coutinho has no future at Barcelona, and he has nothing to lose by coming to Newcastle.
