Dani Alves presence in the team would add more experience to the squad and most motivate the young players, I don't expect him to play full match of 90 minutes at 38, his presence would guide and assist a bring stability to their defence line when he is playing. However I don't think Puyol will stage a come back from retirement, he can only assist Xavi in managing the team, meanwhile Pique is  still very relevant in the team with his wealth of experience  as a center back, Barcelona defence just needs some little adjustments.

Well he is playing for free so he is excellent move for this financially challenged Barca side. When I say free it is actually 1EUR per week so it is not free but that is something I can pay out without even noticing so I guess even Barca can find the money If i knew he is willing to play so cheap I would have send him an Email, we are often missing a player or two on Tuesday evening 

Kidding aside, he should be very good for dressing room morale and the experience he brings even if he is not fit to play in first team anymore. I guess he got promised to end the career there and get some other function later on.

I have heard some rumours like Barcelona want to sign Chelsea forward Timo Werner on loan in this January. He played in 10 official games so far (7 in the EPL). And he is injured now but he is expected to return very soon. I wonder if he is still a big part of Tuchel's plans at Chelsea. If he is not, then this transfer is very likely to happen. But first, Tuchel should decide with whom to fill his place. If he is able to fill his place with a very good player, then there is no problem. I really don't like to see this version of Werner. Because I knew him by his big talent in scoring. He was marvelous about it while he was playing at Leipzig. Now, he has a totally different role at Chelsea which is not that I like too much. Everything is in front of us, and if you know Manchester citys play style you would agree to say Raheem Sterling has always been a regular for the team and an instrumental one but this season his number of goals can tell the story which is his not in good books with the boss!

I think they should sell Sterling. Yeah he has got the age but he has lost the touch like he used to and plus there are lot of new and young players with potential to play in that area and develop. Also Sterling is also looking for options to switch to and get some more playing minutes and honestly they should let him go. It's win-win for both team and the player.

I think lacazette is a viable option for Barcelona because I think Barcelona will be able to get him in a short price range. So they have to make do with what they can. I was surprised when I heard they wanted Mbappe but realistically that is not possible for them.
