Because if he does go to Manchester United, he is going to have some problems trying to win the trophies for which he is actually moving out from Tottenham. I am having a hard time calling any of these guys a victim. The reason why Lukaku left Inter Milan for Chelsea was money and then he couldn't perform there. I think it's crazy! How many people are there who would say no to an offer of €700 million a year? I don't know anyone and can't imagine anyone saying no. Even though it was my childhood dream to play for Real, I couldn't have said no to such an offer, but it's great from Mbappe! We probably won't see him play for a year now. But I agree that all of these transfers have received a new twist due to Saudi Arabia now being the most lucrative destination for players. Manchester City will not try to sign Mbappe while they have Haaland. What's new in City is the departure of Riyad Mahrez to Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia league for €30m. Now Real Madrid can pay a huge amount of money and hire Mbappe or they can wait for one year and hire Mbappe for free.

In light of the current state of the transfer market, Mbappe is undeniably good and is worth that much. If Rice and Enzo should be valued at $100 million, I believe Mbappe should be worth twice that amount, but how many clubs have the resources to pay that much for a player? Al-Ahli a Saudi Arabian club had completed the signing of Riyad Mahrez in a deal worth £30m for the 32 year old player who had spent 5 seasons with Man City and won 10 trophies for the club having a brilliant career in EPL first with Leceister City before joining Man City and he is always a good substitute for the club,  I think £30m is a very good deal for Man City considering the age of Mahrez probably that is why he opted to sign for the Arabian club to earn a lucrative weekly wages offered by the oil rich clubs just like the other former European based players who joined the Arab clubs as a retirement base to play in their league as well as to earn massive wages.

Saudi Arabia is investing heavily in relevant names in European football, until when will Al-Ahli, Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad continue to surprise us with these millionaire signings? Will their money ever run out? How long do they intend to buy players with all that fortune? Are so many "stars" really necessary to win titles or is it just to achieve world status?

The Algerian striker is Al Ahli's third major reinforcement for the season. In addition to Mahrez, the Saudi team also signed Brazilian Roberto Firmino, formerly of Liverpool, and Senegalese goalkeeper Mendy, formerly of Chelsea.
However, they don't stop there either... Frenchman Allan Saint-Maximin, from Newcastle, is very close to signing a contract there in an amount close to what was paid by Mahrez. Who will come later?
