so... where does it say how many NVOT one will receive with X investment deposit for the crowd sale?

It doesn't 'say' anywhere... depends on where the total $ raised ends up at the end of crowdsale timer.

At the moment it's a reasonable guess they'll hit something in the ballpark of $5 million.

So rough estimate dividing 15 million tokens to that, we're looking at each one being about $0.33 cents or thereabouts.

Maybe different if more is raised in the remaining time, but that's a current approximate ballpark.

1 BTC today is at about $2600-ish so for every BTC (or equivalent of altcoins) invested "now" you can guess you'll get maybe 7,878.78 tokens Wink

Again, this is just "current GUESS" and we'll see where it all ends up in just a few more days Wink

The crowdsale is nearing its end, 3days left, I would like to start the phase No2, we are looking for consulting developers to check the development specifications.

A knowledge of the solutions proposed by blockstream is greatly desired. We avoided using Ethereum for security reasons, because in case of a flaw, it would be possible to extract the funds from the wallets, which would lead to a scenario like the DAO. Waves has not yet implemented such functions.

The validator will be a wrapper around the technologies offered by blockstream, in case the technology changes, or is not sufficiently adapted, so that the validator won't be affected and will save its versatility.

We did not want to consult directly with companies, we wanted to talk to the community first and see what they think about it, because it's a decentralized project. I invite you to send me your resume in private message, I would contact you thereafter.

As regards to the profile :

- Experience desired in the technologies offered by blockstream.
- Experience in blockchain architecture.
- Experience in software engeneering.
- Experience in decentralized projects.

- Open minded.
- Supports remote work.
- Dynamic and innovative.

The aim of this recruitment is to set up a team composed of IT devs and consultants in blockchain technologies, in order to prepare the project's requirements, check the specifications and set up a viable roadmap in relation to development based on the objectives of the project.

Thank you for your participation.

Very interesting project! Spot on for me, since I am quite new on this, I feel that this may help me as lots of this is "too technical" at many levels.
And I would like to take the opportunity to ask a stupid question -  is there no sort of Confirmation when participating in Crowdsale\ICO? I've sent the money from Jaxx.

I am just about to send bitcoin from exodus linux wallet to nvo.io.

I checked that I truly have the private keys in my exodus wallet. So I follewed these instructions to do it.
http://support.exodus.io/knowledge_base/topics/how-can-i-view-my-private-keys-1

But the problem is, that it gives just the bitcoin address not the bitcoin private key. So it does not go as the instructions tell. What is the problem? Is there some bug in the exodus?

So I gues I should not send bitcoins from exodus to nvo.io before I realle can be sure that I have the private key? Should I use Jaxx instead?

Can I invest from a bitcoin address that I control and receive my nvot tokens in a different bitcoin address that I also control? Basically sending from X address and receiving in Y address?

Who is "they"?

If you used BTC, there is no showing balance in the dashboard. Not that this matters; just check your transaction using any blockchain explorer.

the BTC counter is 967 btc right now.
It should break 1000 BTC today.

But the problem is, that it gives just the bitcoin address not the bitcoin private key. So it does not go as the instructions tell. What is the problem? Is there some bug in the exodus?
It could be a bug. See if there is an available update to the software and try that; or contact the Exodus team.

So I gues I should not send bitcoins from exodus to nvo.io before I realle can be sure that I have the private key?
Correct.

Should I use Jaxx instead?
I recommend Electrum or just using counterwallet right away.

Why would you want to do that? Just send your BTC to that 'different Bitcoin address' and invest from it.

I contacted exodus support. They answered in few minutes. Yes there was a bug. They had released an update.
https://www.exodus.io/releases/

Now it works. I can export the bitcoin private key. I guess it is now safe to participate nvo.io crowd sale from the Exodus Linux wallet? No need to use Electrum or counter wallet?

Please explain me.
If I have a bitcoin wallet and a private key from it, I need to create a receiving address from wallet and to register it on the nvo.io dashboard, then I just transfer funds from the wallet to the escrow bitcoin address OR I must first transfer funds to my own address, which I created before and registered on the nvo.io dashboard, and only after that transfer funds to the escrow bitcoin address?

Thank you in advance.

This we can say now,  was very successful ICO, i hope and exchange will be popular as well. I'm not an investor but when considering where to invest i first look if there is any actual need, in this case i can say yes! We cannot rely no more on centralized exchanges at lest we can reduse their full dominion over our funds.
Good luck!

First minerjones have to come online and approve it to you (if i got it right) than when you login you have to wait 10-20 secs till the script update you eth status.

NVOT/NVOS are counterparty tokens, meaning they are tokens on your BTC address. To see them (later), you need to import your private key(s) into a compatible wallet (counterwallet or, in the future, the NVO wallet).

I set up my personal bitcoin address with a counterwallet and i have the private key.
But i sent my Ethereum and my LTC from an address where i dont hold the private key.
Now my Question is everything fine will i get my NVOT/NVOS to my personal Bitcoin address or do i have a problem now.

This is okay. You are only not supposed to send BTC from an address to which you don't own the private keys to.

First minerjones have to come online and approve it to you (if i got it right) than when you login you have to wait 10-20 secs till the script update you eth status.
No. That is nonsense.

Hello,

I sent some ethereum to my private altcoin address,  Why my balance is still 0.00 eth?
On average, it takes 1 hour for the balance to show up. Under unforeseen conditions, this may take several hours.

I want to ask when the Platform will be ready for active trading, I can see their road map on their website, I also notice that this is going to be based on Maidsafe platform, that is not ready for productive use
