Nice to speculate on how much we could earn, but I feel even the numbers used are far too high for a new service that will really take patience. I might even say a lot of patience. Weeks at the minimum to see the first gains. But I hope to be proven wrong!
To do this, the exchange would have to spin out about $150,000 worth of commission income per day (a penny per 15 million NVOT tokens) and to get to that, at 0.0002 vig rate (half of the 0.0004 total charged to maker/taker) they'd have to be moving about $750,000,000 (750 Million) thru the exchange on a daily basis. You are off by one zero the commission rate of 0.2% is 0.002 not 0.0002. So for the penny per NVOT scenario the daily volume needs to be 75,000,000 not 750,000,000

from slack : "NVST is the NVO token name, and NVSX is the secondary token name".
so basically
NVOT ---) NVST NVOS ---) NVSX
NVEST -- as in 'INVEST' and NVSX -- as in 'We Never Have Sex' perfect as it is, IMO

I am quite new to NVO platform and yet to test it. I was searching for true decentralized exchange and I think I have found a good one. Will post my detail review about NVO later on.

I used Counterwallet to send BTC to the Crowdsale! All good.
Now i have a question (never used Counterwallet before), do i need to take any further actions to receive the NVOTs? Or will they be send to my Wallet and and appear as NVOT?
Thanks!
Again my question. Does sbdy know?

Store the private key of the sending address, when the token will be released you ca try to sweep them to counterwallet or wait for NVO wallet release. The password of NVO website is not needed

Won't Lightning network do all this anyway? When LN is done along with other coins using atomic cross chain transactions surely this will negate this whole project? How does a decentralized exchange have/generate transaction fees?

I will buy some of your tokens later on.
Even tho I might pay premium (not sure about it actually) at least I will know everything is coded and running.
These kind of investments without a track record or little is not my thing.
But congrats to all who participated
A non-coded project doesn't necessarily mean that the project itself is bad or fake. There are a lot of pre-coded and ready for the go projects which end up in the trashcan — primarily pre-mined coins. [/quote] Thats not what I meant. I will wait until everything is launched and got a couple of weeks/month in service. Getting rid of minor mistakes and getting users. If the first months are looking good, I am able to evaluate the true value of the project based on facts and numbers not just the hope and dream some of the people in here have. I love the idea but I would never invest in something I can't have a saying in how to develop or run the product unless I have conducted business with this person before. And for that security I will happily buy 10-20 BTC now and just wait for you to be ready and sell me some coins with premium. Im sure the exchange value of the BTC will cover some of that premium

A decentralised exchange is the way forward for crypto trading, but it will be difficult to achieve. Fingers crossed, this team can achieve it. Watching this with keen interest.

Of course, all here suppose the project, but I think only the time will show how it will work in a long run. I would not judge all situation by this first steps. Sorry, I'm just trying to be a realist.

There are still some people sending BTC... do the new funds on the account count towards the crowdfund (so everyone who participated before the end will actually get less NVOTs thanks to them) or is that considered like a donate to Lauda now?

I believe that any funds' transactions sent after the end of the crowdsale will be refunded. So, no, they will not buy NVOTs, and they didn't participate in the crowdsale — meaning they will not make everyone's number of NVOTs less. Hello Guys,

Again my question. Does sbdy know? When they start distributing NVOTs, they will provide a procedure for investors to follow. Also it is mentioned in the announcement thread that an NVO address import might be required on the investors-side (investors will be required to import NVO address into the counterparty wallet).

But this is only necessary if you want to use "early access" in counterparty wallet isnt't it?! If I want to wait for the NVO wallet I don't have to do anything to receive the tokens or am I wrong?

In my understanding: Invest sending fund from address that you own private key ---) they send tokens there. tokens are sent there when released, you must do absolutely nothing. want to view, sell or transfer the tokens? import priv key in counterwallet or NVO wallet. nothing less nothing more

That link might as well be Greek. I have the private key from a bitaddress wallet. Can I import that to counterwallet to see my funds?
