i tried to import one of the used addresses in counterwallet.

after putting in the private key and hitting Sweep just nothing happens.

what to do?

EDIT: maybe it is just because i don't have any BTC in both addresses. in which one do i need BTC. in the old or in the new or in both?

Just wait Smiley, many users sent there btc from an exchange so they have to sent the tokens partial manually.
You can check here if they start sending out the tokens.
https://xchain.io/asset/NVST.NVSX

When you write at the top right corner of the site your adresse you can see if you already got your tokens Smiley.

-snip-
This is not the place nor the time to ask this. Read through the counterparty documentation. Wait for the team to publish a guide on importing your address to counterparty and then start asking question about it (optimally through Slack). The team is trying to help the people who have improperly invested due to not ready instructions in order to make the least amount of people lose their money.

Do i need to d something extra or it will be credited automatically?
Automatically on the BTC address that you've invested with / the BTC address that you've posted in to the dashboard (if you've invested altcoins).

ICO initiators should obviously have noted that we need to send from a counterwallet in order to be able to actually use the tokens.

Options should be offered in order to obtain the tokens without needing to import private keys to a wallet that is unable to do so

it was

actually several times

I'm not really upset about it, but tell me, where on the instructions is it mentioned? In fact, scrolling through it mentions importing private keys to counterwallet or NVOT wallet multiple times.

Quote
If you are sending Bitcoin, Do not send from an exchange, pool or most online wallets and services, as you don’t control private keys. You will lose NVOT.

1. In the Personal bitcoin address section, submit a bitcoin address you control private keys. This is mainly used for depositing with altcoins. If you send with Bitcoin, NVOT will be sent to the address you used to send Bitcoin. So if you deposit twice with Bitcoin using two different addresses each time, NVOT will be sent separately to those two addresses.

2. Choose the cryptocurrency you want to use for deposit, copy address and send funds.

3. Wait until crowdsale is over for NVOT to be sent out to your address submitted in Personal bitcoin address section if sent using altcoins.

There is only 1 Bitcoin address for all participations, whereas each participant gets an unique address for depositing with altcoins with a balance checker. A normal bitcoin wallet is fine for holding NVOT, but you won’t be able to “see” and “send” the NVOT unless you are using a CounterWallet. Later, NVO wallet will also support NVOT, so you can send or import private keys.

If you are unsure on which bitcoin wallet to use, you can send Bitcoins from Copay, or JAXX, or Exodus. These wallets are more user friendly for new users. You can also use the links listed in Personal bitcoin address section.

you'll get your tokens, you just can't move them unless you use counterwallet or wait till the NVO wallet will be able to import privkeys, it was mentioned in this thread several times

Hi,
I have a bitcoin address from which I sent BTC. I don't need a counterwallet. All I want to do is check my NVO token balance. What blockchain explorer can I use to see that?

I dont think the tokens are distributed yet https://coindaddy.io/search?network=xcp&q=nvst https://counterpartychain.io/address/1HF9qmvVz6EMu5ihjkbstpBwAVb9jdm9Lh  but I dont understand what is hurry when there is nowhere to trade them yet.I think if project is success you may regret having sold them though due to dividends if it grows and with all these centralised exchanges becoming more and more unreliable it may happen sooner than later.

Only question I would have is no ability to margin trade ( I think this was big part of poloniex success) etc but maybe devs are looking at all these things including effects of LN etc.

You may receive them but they would be unusable, as Trezor wallet does not seem to handle counterparty tokens.
And even though you technically own the private key, you can't sweep the address in the Counterparty wallet, because Trezor does not reveal the actual private key value.
Please see this page as posted by tonbi on slack: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfC5CQ4djZan9Gs2WATAnQXtYnecSyAD2fIP6bKGDc5HwiwOA/viewform
Looks like you need to hurry and fill it out with your info - hopefully they'll be able to do something and send your tokens to another address you'd need to provide

Can someone from devs/managers/moderators answer me this:

My Personal bitcoin address is my electrum BTC address.
I deposited via Jaxx in ETH and now I see some ETH balance when I login to nvo.io

When/where/how will I receive NVO tokens?

I already sent email to support team but no answer.

you'll get your NVST tokens (or however they are called now) to the personal bitcoin address specified in the dashboard, however you won't be able to move them unless you sweep that address to counterparty wallet or wait till NVO adds NVST tokens to their wallet, after which you'll have to import privkey of that address

I also haven't, but it's still a bit early.

BTW, I have a small problem, if anyone can help.
I sent a few BTC from a new counterwallet, but the BTC transactions don't show up in counterwallet history (it's blank).
However, the transactions can be seen on BTC blockchain.
Is this normal for counterwallet? Not showing BTC transaction history? Am I missing something?

Hi guys, sorry if this is a bad question but how do I add the asset to my counterwallet address? I understand from other types of asset linked on blockchain that we have to "add" the token to the address to be able to see it. So, I found under "Address Actions" the option to "ADD Asset (Token)". But I don't know the details to fill in.
