1080Ti Specific - Best mining option

According to Steve Burke at Gamers Nexus you're looking at 5000 or 10000 hours @ 105C.

I dont believe so, to much throttle to run it at that temp

vrms can hit 100+ *C

anyway i have run various cards for years 24/7/365 at folding and mining, only lost a couple fans. but i do keep them clean and cool(ish).

you forget other parts on the card that cant handle these temp for a long time without being affect. The cards are built to run @70C, its a fact. Now if you want to go ahead and run them @85C its your business.

hey i run mine in the mid 60s on gpus, and my evga 1070tis/sapphires 390s can tell vrm temps too (mid 50s to mid 60s *C). ill take me chances

but some cards had stupid hot vrms and right next to cheap(ish) caps, i agree with that.. dont recall which models through, read about it in reviews at anandtech i believe. no idea how they fared on long term compute usage.

anandtech said that for zotac amp extreme core and that it have bad cooling for vrms(100C)but i havent noticed any problems with it so far,got 5 of them working 24/7 and they are beasts.So far there aint many reports about those cards needed to be rma because of it

Is this still one of if not the best option for x17 and CUDA?  Has worked well for me but as you all know efficiency is king.

Im still going for x17 as for what I know it's still the most profitable. Maybe there is something new out there but kept secret as long as possible
I have to say that I love the algos where Nvidia is king as all the AMD rigs can't switch to that algo

As for me HSRminer runs best on gtx 1080 ti. For gtx 1060 / 1070 I can get beter speed with Klaus.

don`t believe nicehash - think. if someone pays for it - it means just that he gains more.  try to search coins. is you want just one button actions - x17, lyra2z, neoscrypt with right miner - will show the best advantages 1080ti. but not profit. profit - nist, neoscrypt, may be skein and keccak.
