Is it possible to mine Luxcoin with yiimp on a cryptopia wallet adress ?

And what is the intensifty you use with ccminer2.2.4 for LUX mining on a 1080 ti ?

i'm mining luxcoin using zpool and paid in BTC, but i think it should be ok if u using cryptopia wallet address if you want to paid in LUX.
i use 20 for the intensity and it gives around 31 MH/s.

Finally, I prefer mining on the QT wallet.
I have 32mhs with 75% power limit with ccminer2.2.4

XVG is same profitability than LUX.
What do you suggest ?
i'm minning Lux with 1080ti in altminer with CCminer Phi 1.0 https://github.com/216k155/ccminer-phi-anxmod/releases
This ccminer is suggested by staff Luxcoin.
It gives me 34,3 MH

In 120 years you might have enough for a masternode!

LUX looks like a scamcoin.

Please don't spread misinformation.
Especially without a shred of evidence or reasoning behind it.

It is a very real coin, with unique tech and great roadmap, and a large dedicated team that has been hitting milestones every since it was introduced.
You are welcome to browse the LUX github repos to check for yourself - https://github.com/216k155/lux

What's the misinformation I am spreading?  How long, by your calculations, would it take a 1080 TI to have enough coins for a masternode?  120 years is probably wrong because it's too short, the answer is probably infinity.

Is it incorrect to say that there is a 3,000,000 coin premine and only 5,250,000 coins are released in year one?  That's a huge premine IMO.  How do you know they won't dump it when they have 37% of the coins after a year?

Also, you don't consider that it's nearly impossible for a small-time miner to accumulate a significant amount of coins - even getting in from day 0 - to be reasoning?

How about that they censored negative posts in their ANN thread?

If people want to mine it go ahead, but after researching I don't think it's a good idea.  Just my opinion...

I want to like LUX like I want to like XVG. Neither one is without legit criticism.  They are both less trashy than some of the other alts which may not be saying much.

So hard to find that one or two alts to fall in love with. To mine and to hold. Through ups and downs. Until sell do us part.

You can check difficulty on what to mine.

Hey Guys,

Some people would argue that an AMD 580 is the best card for mining, especially with Dual Mining support
What do you think? Is the 1080 ti more for "niche mining" or did you make the experience of having a better profit per watt ratio than AMD cards?

The 580 is not the best card.  The reason why it and the 480 were so popular was because it offered the best price to performance ratio back when it was selling at or under MSRP.  These days it's as overpriced as everything else and there are far better cards in absolute performance and performance per watt, so it doesn't make much sense to buy them anymore unless you can get them cheap.

The 1080ti on the other hand is much better in absolute performance and in performance per watt, as well as performance per space, but it's always been quite a bit more expensive to buy.  With the currently inflated prices though, I'd feel better about overpaying for a high performance part than a mid-range part.

Thank you very much for your reply!
I have one Asus Strix 1080Ti as well and are starting to mine a bit.
I am mining neoscrypt coins right now, these are my settings:

the last one is the one i am mining with right now, i pay about 22 dollar cents for one kilowatt hour of energy

Any suggestions to improve my settings?

Anyone spending $1k+ for a 1080ti is a moron, sorry.
You can buy the Titan Xp direct from nvidia (with pretty Star Wars logos and all) for under $1200, and it’ll outmine the 1080ti by 5-10%

I just saw a msi 1080ti go for $1220 on ebay.

Briefly thought about buying 4 titan xp and holding onto them for a while to see where this debacle goes.

Just can't bring myself to spend over 4500$ on some gpus. Too risky. For all we know next week stock will be there to satisfy demand or the crypto market will dive.

Just because someone is crazy enough to spend $1220 on a 1080ti doesn't necessarily mean they'd spend $1600+ on a titan xp even if that was literally all you could get.
My absolute max limit on a 1080ti for now is $850, even at that price point I won't jump and order one right away. Anything above that, I'll pass.

15-20 here too.. Let's hope the BTC will recover, getting scared now.
Wah?

LUX and XVG have both lost more than 15-20% and difficulty really hasn't moved down much.

I'm mining about the same amount but the value of both have gone down more like 35-40% easily over what they were.

I dont mine Lux or XVG

yes, there is one : use another miner  Cheesy
in fact, if search the forum with this words "hsr miner"  you will find a miner which is capable to push 1800kh/s from gtx 1080 ti
which is 23% better then your result
is this improvement looks good enough for you?

lol

I saw a MSI 1080ti go for $1220 a couple days ago on ebay.  In that case the titan makes more sense for $1130.  Speaking of I picked a couple up from nvidia to slam together a second computer and do a little extra mining.  Maybe load battlefront on there and see if I can get my wife to play along with me.   Grin

You guys can blame me for the bloodbath on the market since it started literally the day I put my order in for my second computer.

depends , I don't have 1080ti-s, but I know a guy who has like 50 of these and he says in case everything drops the 1080ti will still sell good used since is not used so much
for mining and not so many people have it. Probably he is right somehow, the market will be flooded by very cheap 1070s and 1060s if everything goes down.
