I bought some XEL coins via heatwallet a while ago, but as you can't trade with them meanwhile on the heat platform, I would like to transfer them for being more flexible, but unfortunately I don't know how to get the xel's away from heatwallet. Via slack a guy named oscurito23 messaged me following: ---------------------- I saw you TRansfer asset recipient fim2@heatwallet.com asset XEL amount amount Message YOUR WALLET fim2 is the automatic procesor for XEL of heat not my acount ty for trust in my --------------------- He mentioned that I will get a certain amount of heat's for the xel's after sending to the recipient. Questions: 1) How to get sure that "recipient fim2@heatwallet.com" is not a fake? Sounds like being the wallet from anyone else.. 2) Isn't it possible sending xel coins from heatwallet to f.e. bittrex? I don't want to sell coins yet as i would have to pay taxes Could not find any help so thanks for all useful answers. You are a bit boring, we have already explained in the slack, those are the official instructions to withdraw from heat. Sorry for being a pain, I could not really believe it at first, as it’s a strange way I think so, looks very improvised that process. Moreover the sell/ change force from xel to heat is a big disadvantage, as I have to pay taxes when I switch the coins now. After 1 year it would be free of taxes. However, thank you very much for your help!

Stop the noob talks you guys. ElasticSearch is not a supercomputer. It's a distributed search engine based on Apache Lucene. I'm a dev using ElasticSearch for a while now. It has nothing to do with supercomputers So I'd say Elastic should stay as the name. Logo is fine too. No need for any changes there.

please read the answers above. In my opinion there is no rebranding needed. Especially not in the near future.

It's not fake FUD. It is an issue I have raised before. We should be conscious of it rather than dismissing it.
Well, we could decide to rename that thing - maybe just XEL? Or we could write it with a "k" at the end? We could also try to find out if this would be necessary first. It's up to you @community. Yes that would be one way to get round it. In fact I may be wrong but I think Elastic itself may be considered too generic to be copyrighted anyway. So Elastik (assuming nobody else has used it) would be better. Elastik.com is available for purchase ( https://uniregistry.com/market/domain/elastik.com). Of course, it's probably best to search trademarks databases (US / Europe, etc) and talk to a trademark specialist before doing anything like this. It might be cheaper to just research and create a new name that becomes valuable and unique to the project. There are naming consultants that help startups create unique names with domains and trademarks cleared. It's always an uphill battle to use a common word as a brand name. We changed logo several weeks ago, and now the name? I don't see the reason. Perhaps later, if it's really going to become an issue but now it's just not needed. Yay, its not a big deal and the name spelling does not mean that much. "Tech first, marketing later" as the wise people say) Putting them in any order is a strategic mistake. Today, both fuel each other.

The fud on this coin never dies. Great signs of what's coming up ahead. The development continues, just not always on this thread, but the devs are still working hard.

Nothing serious. Just a small warning. See an explanation here: https://talk.elasticexplorer.org/t/xel-forked/824

There is no rebranding needed. Ticker and name are good I think. This makes only confusion for new investors. Development and progress that what is needed.

Hey, devs! Can you please give us a short summary of the development progress? Last time it was porting the C ElasticPL to Java ElasticPL. But as I can see it on GitHub you've probably done that and now working on some new Elastic wallet prototype (with large letters warning NOT even try to use it)? Really curious..

~710 btc were collected which are not accessible by the developers ( see here for more explanation). In worst case people got in at 1250 sats/xel with no guarantee to receive any xel, because it was a donation, not ICO - that's why people emphasize this point.
