Congratulations Everyone!

Another big milestone achieved!

Thank you to all the contributors!

Following is the first draft for rules regarding the Bounty program that I plan to start from Monday.

...

That's really kind of you . I would like to contribute to Elastic use cases contest with 1000 XEL's . I would also like to see an donation account for devs if they agree .

I'm in! Will add another 5000 XEL for promotion.

Has anyone managed to redeem from a multi sig genesis entry?

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

Agree! I've been waiting for a long time to send some XELs to our honorable grandmasters, legendary creators of a really innovative tech! Cheesy

Please, @EK, @coralreefer, @unvoid, @by rallier, provide us with your XEL addresses. I guess there might be lots of people willing to show their respect for your hard work!

Thank you so much!

Great idea!

@EK, @coralreefer, @unvoid, @by rallier, provide us with your XEL addresses so we can show you some XEL love for all the great work you've done!

All those that have said that they'd be willing to contribute to those that have made Elastic possible, it's time to redeem your coins and thank our glorious team in XEL.  :-)

Would be best if we could have a single address to donate to and then the guys could divide it up amongst themselves.

I think that just adds an unnecessary layer of complexity (who gets what, over what period, when do they split it.....), in terms of getting the money to the team asap.

Far simpler if people donate to the separate XEL addresses, so that each team member has immediate access to whatever funds are coming their way.

I don't think it's a good idea so that our devs will somehow decide on their own who deserves to get more and who less, these things should be up for the community members to decide, imo.

That's why we have voting implemented in client. We just need to figure out how to handle fund address (XEL/BTC/...).

Is there any news accordingly from markets? If bittrex will add xel it will be great. Even on forum there is buy orders around 10k which is great

make a request to add XEL to polo here;

https://www.poloniex.com/coinRequest

I suggest to supply all needed info/links for this to make it easier for people to fill it correctly in the polo request form.

https://www.poloniex.com/coinRequest

For those who want to submit request add coin to polo;

What is the name of the coin?
Elastic

What is the coin's symbol?
XEL

Please link to the announcement page
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1957064.0

If the coin has a website, please link it here.
http://elastic.pw/

If the coin has a block explorer, please link it here.
http://elasticexplorer.org/

Please explain why you would like to see this coin added to the exchange.
Elastic is an open-source project that aims to build the first decentralized supercomputer. Elastic has been developed over the last year or so and provides the infrastructure for a decentralized and distributed super computer, designed to carry out arbitrary tasks over the internet. In  this  context,  Elastic is  powered by a crypto currency (XEL) and provides a market-based mechanism to buy  and  sell computational  resources. Those  who need  computational  resources,  model  their  problem using Elastic’s programming language (Elastic PL) and broadcast it on the network, along with a certain amount of XEL coins. The Elastic miners are then motivated to offer their computational resources in exchange for a portion of those XEL coins.

If this coin has any significant innovations over other coins, please elaborate on them here.
working system unlike other similar coins such as golem

for the last two questions you can use your own answers  Wink

I would put more here if possible:

"If this coin has any significant innovations over other coins, please elaborate on them here."

I mean, you put that we have a working system unlike Golem, but I think there is much, much more to differentiate us and competition, and it would be really great, is someone could compile bullet like list.
It really is a question, why Elastic is awesome?

You could then, at the end of that list add that Elastic, unlike other projects have working system, although still in development.

Thanks

This too me it is one of the most exciting things in Elastic.

I really hope some one will soon help coralreefer, and create examples/tutorials for the Elastic PL language.

Let's not forget those who have put the time and the effort into this project.

EK needs a new car, by rallier is getting married next month, coralreefer and unvoid have bills, hopes, dreams and desires.

We need to set up a foundation to make sure that these guys (and others that have contributed) get the just rewards for their past efforts and (hopefully) for their future efforts.

We've been a great community so far, let's make sure we carry that on into the future.

Congratulations and thanks to such a great team!  :-)

Well said ! +1

Wtf are you talking about? The coin is already pre-mined and these devs already have a huge share in it. And you're talking about donating them?

Wrong. The devs have the same amount as other early donators, the amount is related to the amount of BTC they donated. 100% of the coins are distributed to donators. They may have a sizable share, but it is related to the amount of financial risk they took, just like everyone else, and the amount they control is much less than other crypto projects.

Is there any news accordingly from markets? If bittrex will add xel it will be great. Even on forum there is buy orders around 10k which is great

make a request to add XEL to polo here;

https://www.poloniex.com/coinRequest

I suggest to supply all needed info/links for this to make it easier for people to fill it correctly in the polo request form.

https://www.poloniex.com/coinRequest

For those who want to submit request add coin to polo;

Thanks

i think https://liqui.io may list XEL for exchange soon
