People dumping so hard and so fast are impatient fools.
Those of us who appreciate this project for what it is know the price now is a joke.
Don't throw your xel away for such a cheap cheap price for your own good.
\

So, what do you think is the true value of this coin?

You can do your own logic. Just take into account that this project has more advanced development than other projects from the same field and they are valuated much higher. The closest valuation I would consider realistic for Elastic is in the Golem range, and much higher after the full client is released.

You have a good point. Now, correct me if I am wrong. But doesn't XEL supply is 100,000,000 XEL vs Golem 1,000,000,000 GNT. Shouldn't this be a big factor when it comes to XEL vs GNT price?

Coin total supply is irrelevant. It's the coins in circulation and the precentage of price fluctuation.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

All you need to look at is Market Cap. IF Elastic can keep up with Golem, you could see 10x profit by buying now.

However, people are currently experiencing FOMO and might not bother with Elastic at this point. Not sure if it can reach Golem's level (especially with the whole market being in bear mode currently).

How price ICO for 1 XEL ?? Huh

600-700sat

I remember that it was about 800 sat. So all investors already made a realy nice profit (remember the BTC price when the ICO happend - I think it was between 700-900 USD). So actually a wonderful profit if you measure in USD.

I invested very early on (though not the exact start). BTC price was in the $500s, and my XEL was low 500s. USD and BTC profits were both huge, but that can be attributed to huge marketcap of similar (copies) with less functional products.

are you seriously just 500s price 1 xel ??
if true will huge dump price

I was hearing about the project for long time and didn't had how to get in this by buying. Finally that time has arrived so price is already high and people are selling to get quick profit as their patience has gone. I didn't buy at these price but I am sure current profit taking trend will help me get my tokens at my desired price soon.

What is next for the project?

Completing the functional part of the software aka launching the Decentralized Supercomputer.

So far it works in testnet but has still open issues to be solved/decided.

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

Creating account with custom passphrase doesn't work. It's also unclear whether entered passphrase is correct since you cannot see it. Max passphrase length is unknown, so user cannot know whether his full password was accepted or only part of it.

Don't do that, as far as I know heat is sending the message encrypted while Bittrex wants it to be unencrypted. There's a chance you will lose your XEL.
You need to send your XEL from heat to a local wallet and then send them to bittrex.
