I just want to again caution about the push for exchanges (everyone already knows I'd prefer if we weren't pursuing them right now). Just keep in mind that there are still many parts of the project that are in flux and we don't have a solid whitepaper at this time. We already took a risk by releasing the Lite Wallet w/o the compute functionality...so we need to make sure that whatever is being put out to the public is professional, accurate, and complete. I just have a feeling that we are rushing to the exchanges and new people looking at Elastic may see these gaps in the project and get a negative impression that stick with them and possibly spread to others.
Coralreefer's right, we're not at the point we should be at for releasing on an exchange. We need to finalise the new white paper, get out some articles in the press (which can take several weeks), fully populate the website with articles and make sure that the community understands the functionality of Elastic, in order to give out a consistent message about what exactly Elastic is. If people go off half-cocked, giving out inconsistant messages about what Elastic is, then that could only damage our reputation. We're not in a mad rush. We have OTC trading, so those that want to convert some of their XEL into BTC can do so. Let's play this smart and do it right. edit: we're working on the updated white paper now and it should be ready in the next few days.

On the website https://www.elastic.pw/what does "Elastic Coin knows XEL" mean? Does it mean "Elastic Coin is known as XEL". The "So We Have" is also very weird. Please replace it with something like "Facts", and "Distributed Coin" with "Distributed Coins".

Pretty sad, SONM was just added to Yobit, Elastic cannot go that route. I don't trust Yobit.

The few XEL trades on the HEAT AE (145 XEL in total) were just used to test the automatic deposit and redemption functions. If you already have an account on HEAT, it is already now possible to trade the BTC/XEL pair, but the order books are currently quite limited. What opens up tomorrow is the description on how to use the automatic deposit / withdrawal functions. Hopefully many XEL holders will participate so that we can get some volume on the sales side of the order book. And how to deposit XEL, I do not see the option on Heatwallet.com

Makes little sense since everyone is trying to accumulate to stake. There will be light selling.

Folks, the transaction fee should be 0.1 XEL? Can't it be less than that? I've never looked at NXT technology, so don't care about that childish question, at NXT the rate is 1, those values of 1 or 0.1 could not represent a kind of problem soon?
It can be less than that and we are working on it. Before final release we most probably set in code some low fee and let forgers decide in config file min fee on which they want to include tx in block. But before that we will back to this topic to discuss it in more detail, maybe different idea will show up.
