@devking thank you for your precise words

Personally, I am not worried to be added to any exchange. So we should not pay any exchange anything. Elastic is an interesting project, so a clever exchange will take the easy to understand NXT base and will implement us ASAP and attract new investors etc.

I totally agree with you. We are waiting for bittrex. They can add to list with free.

Thank you guys for all the hard work you've put into this project.

And thank you by rallier and unvoid for providing your XEL addresses, so a grateful community can donate for work well done.

EK and Coralreefer, could you please add your XEL addresses to your signatures, so we can donate for all the work you've done to make this project a success.  Without the pair of you giving up your valuable time and dedicating so much of your lives to Elastic, this project would very likely have turned to ashes.

Donations at this point are for the work done to bring us to where we're at today.  In the near future, there will be a foundation (or similar) set up to reward work going forward.

I have added my XEL address to my signature.  As most of you know I work on Elastic because I find the concept interesting, not to earn a paycheck, but I certainly appreciate any donations.

But please keep in mind there is no guarantee of future work...I will continue to work on the project as long as I find the work interesting.

Wtf are you talking about? The coin is already pre-mined and these devs already have a huge share in it. And you're talking about donating them?

Why you're doing this? Coin is premined because it's pure nature of this kind of coin to be premined (PoS NXT based). I don't know how many XEL have the rest of the dev team but I bought my share with lot of money.

You know @EK? People say we have big stake in XEL. We are damn rich!

Right. Saying it's "premined" makes it sound like the devs set aside a chunk for themselves. This couldn't be further from the truth. 100% of the coins are distributed to donators. It's one of the most fair distributions I've witnessed since Bitcoin.
yes, I agree. Could we change " premined " to " all distributed". People have a bad taste in their mind from the word " premined "

Yeah, "premined" essentially meant that devs preminded POW coins, horded them and launched then. So that the "public" allready got a coin with a relative high difficulty and big parts of the supply in the hands of the devs.

That's obv something different.

Offering XEL bounty! Smiley

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

I was asked a question in Russian section if traffic (specifically a password for an Elastic wallet) can be intercepted even while using HTTPS protocol with full SSL by a theoretically malicious server owner? Smiley
I personally trust you guys, but you can't expect everyone to do that...

As far as I know, "man-in-the-middle" attack is impossible here, but a password can be caught by keyloggers on the computer of one trying to connect to such a server.
