In any case if people mass refund before the 45 days are up, you could kill a potentially legitimate company and subsequently cause them to fail and force others that did not pay by Paypal to loose their money.

Help me understand this statement...

You are saying that we should keep quiet about a possible scam?

You can't possibly be saying this.....?

The entire pre-order group should be up in arms about the total lack of respect that terrahash has shown us. You should be demanding your BTC back, you should be emailing Amir night and day about more information, you should be calling them day and night to get this fixed.

Scammers are scammers, they are suppose to pose as legit before the upset. I'm not saying they are scammers I'm saying look around BFL and others.

"Ohh they didn't keep all my money" doesn't make them not scammers. Scams are made to pull the most money out the quickest way possible and if they can keep face while doing it they will.

How about waiting another month please. It's too early to tell. Most people are just going crazy from no response.

What I'm saying is someone in the States, preferably California should get off their behind as they have frequently stated they 'could' do and go in person and demand a response. Film it. I would.

Clearly hoping for them to respond here is not happening. Also assuming the same customer service as you would expect from a professional engineering firm is not going to happen.

I think most people are fearing delays in Avalon shipping chips in under a week as promised.

Start a Terrahash refund thread and GTFO!!!

no thanks, I think I will stick to this one, so that other people don't get scammed by TerraHash.

Yes because another thread focusing on that would not serve your purpose.

BTCEIC is claiming that this is a scam based on no evidence.

What he has is fear, uncertainty and doubt.

We have evidence of chip orders, evidence of prototype, forthcoming evidence of working prototype,
evidence of money spent on cases and PCB manufacturing.

What BTCEIC has is loss of confidence in TH because they have crap customer service and no other tangible evidence so ignore him as he now has no skin in this game.

Ask someone who has an order with TH and not lost their stomach for the process and is cashing out.

Never take risk advice from someone not willing to take a risk.

What exactly are they hashing with, 10 sample chips and a board that will have to changed when BKK is done changing things?

Look they aren't based somewhere remote in the middle of nowhere, they are in California and have a supposedly open door ffs, the only thing stopping this nonsense from escalating further is someone getting of their lazy ass and doing some detective work.

Cloudhashing claimed to have an office in London and put up a big red arrow stating 'our office' in the heart of Farringdon. Hilarious, I called him on his BS as I worked practically opposite that very building. He changed his contact page very quickly afterward and still has the front to push his scam.

This Terrahash uncertainty however could be wrapped up tomorrow if one of you went and checked them out in one of the most populated cities in the US!

I mean, wow, how many people were claiming it was just down the road, so easy to keep tabs on originally prior to ordering? I remember seeing more than a couple of posters here...

You should not be telling others what to do

So I can't tell people what to do and you can? But, But, that's not fair.... Oh wait this is a free country, I think I will not do as you say.

I believe you are a plant from a competitor trying to destroy this deal.

This is almost laughable, I only wish I had that much power and influence over others, and no I am not a plant.

Your evidence that TH is a scam is "You don't have the stomach for the risk"

My evidence that they are a scam or incompetent at the least is based in part on the following:
horrible communications, bait and switching on their refund policy without notifying their customers, refusing refunds, open day debacle, cloudhashing issue, flip flopping on their pre-order stance, they are utterly untrustable at this point.

What because they will be able to compete with the pros in a year?! I don't think anyone believes this to be more than a one off project to assemble Avalon bulk chips which will likely be superseded on their arrival...
