Everyday I wake thinking ,,this is the day we will hear that the chips have arrived......lol,  in the meantime, I'm having a picnic mining FTC and selling FTC....lol more than one way to get that BTC still! 

Yep, diversification is the key. I also have a bot trading BTC 24/7 for me. A little bit here and there and we will ensure success. Btw, thank you for the kind words in your previous post. Very much appreciated.

Hey Atomsea...will copy this info...may give it a shot, i havent had a lot of luck $ in the past with p2p pools (LTC and FTC)....but always willing to take another look! I may be ordering some usb asics now that price is dropping on them,,,will see if it connects,,,keep us posted in here thx

I bought an asicminer usb from Canaryinthemine on Sunday for .55btc (shipping included) and received it on Wednesday. He is an excellent seller. I'm testing it on my RasPi to get the unit ready for my terrahash boards when they arrive. Those usb miners don't do much, but they are fun to play with.

lol, yep im ordering one asic eruptor just to play with,,,pretty sure it will act like the klondikes with the cgminer,,, not sure on the raspi yet...even tho their pretty cheap now... where/how did you contact canary for a .55 one? through bitcoin forums?  thats a steal! was thinking btc guild,,or even on ebay for 67.00 now and i have a 10% off ebay coupon! WOOT! lol thx!

Right on And indeed, p2p pool has had its hiccups, but we have been running smooth since the 13.2 upgrade, along with our virtual server syncing/tuning. We are excited about the work forrestv and the thread [https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=18313.0] have been doing.  We decided that the open-source p2p nature of this work best fit our vision at HugPuddle

Those usb miners don't do much, but they are fun to play with.

And I hate to admit it - but we got soooo excited when ASICminer came out with the USB asic that we bought one for 2BTC (about 200usd) to yes, "play with."  Reason went out the door! Had to have one

But glad we have it - It is the only asic we have to Alpha test HugPuddle at the moment

Thus we are VERY excited to receive our Terrahash equipment!

If your looking to run Block Erupters on the PI then I recommend Mine Peon as It only involves writing the SD Card and then putting in your pool details. Am sure it will be updated for the K16`s pretty quick as soon as the k16s are in the wild...

Hey guys. If you're looking for a distribution of linux for your Rasberry Pi with CGminer preinstalled and ready for the K16,
BKKcoins is selling them at his store for $10 (+ $4 shipping). You could make one of these yourself, but it's not bad for $14 to save some time.
Plus, it would cut your time down to get started with linux. Not too complicated, but a minor hassle if you're only familiar with windows.
I've set up my RasPi with Minepeon and SSH, but I think I'll get one of these to test out anyway.

It's a little odd at first. Depends on which wallet you are using: client or blockchain.info
I use blockchain for my payments. On blockchain you send your payment first. Then click the "receive money" tab. Click on "actions" and select "sign message".
Enter your name and shipping address in the box, and click "sign message". You will get a signature string. Copy it and close the box. Then PM Canary in the format he has requested with your wallet address at the top, the shipping address you "signed" with next, and the signature string at the bottom.

I never thought we'd be in the situation where Terrahash is ready to assemble and the BkkCoins has a finalized the K16 board design, but Avalon failed to deliver the bulk chip orders.

I hate to say it but I think I bet on the wrong horse yet again. The only benefit of going with Terrahash over KncMiner was the fact that Terrahash should deliver sooner, and we'd have a couple of months to mine before KncMiner could deliver. If KncMiner delivers in September, they are a much better buy since you can get twice as much hashing power per dollar and their machines use less power.

The giant sucking sound you hear is the sound of lost profits for all the folks who have money tied up in Avalon bulk chip shipments.

Terrahash was also very shrewd to change their refund policy at the last minute before accepting pre-orders.

I long for the day when companies like BFL and Avalon become irrelevant and are replaced by companies that actually treat customers in a fair and honest manner.

Well...If they got the chips tomorrow,,,they said they would begin shipping in 2 weeks after receiving,,I  think... Its just hard to imagine that TH or with any company isn't given and accurate tracking and eta time with thousands of dollars of product on order.... I guess lets hope and pray! they come this week,,or yes we will take a huge profit hit if knc ships first,,,batch 3 avalons are arriving daily to their happy customers door steps as promised now...hmmmm our ROI will take for ever...Im kinda wishing i had just took my money and doubled my gpu farm for FTC or LTC lol..I hope I don't regret not doing that....lets try to stay optimistic

Do we know how Avalon ships?  Overnight?
Do they notify the recipient that their product us otw?
Answers to those 2 are the most important at this point.

I am kind of glad I decided to order me a BF kit on the side.
