Im beginning to think yifu doesn't have a clue as to where the chips are...mush less anyone else" which is lame. We/I really need to hear something today.

I'm also beginning to think difficulty is going to reduce the ROI to not much. The only winnig hand is if bitcoins increase in value. If it does, you actually can make quite a bit with 52% difficulty increase each month.
No. If it requires an increase in price, you lost because you would have been better off buying Bitcoin.

It boggles my mind why this type of a write up is even required.  These are the absolute most basic of fundamentals when it comes to starting ANY business.
It boggles my mind that there was any expectation that Terrahash was operating on anything other than the best of intentions.

If that was directed at me, could you kindly point out where I indicated anything about TH's intentions?
It wasn't, and you probably didn't.  Nor did Silvas beyond saying he was sure there was no ill intent.  However there is a lot of noise in this thread about how Terrahash should do this, that or the other.  Or how a business should be setup and run, etc.  Just seems like a lot of wasted energy to me, (and a fair degree of teenage angst from some!)  And this boggles my mind.

End of next week, is here now.. running out of patience.

While we have send out some chip orders, there is currently ~200k chips stuck in custom right at this moment for about 2 weeks now, this matter is very painful for us and our customers. As majority of the chip orders ( 70% ) totaling ~800k is made between early and mid-may resulting in a tight time frame to work with. We do have more chips coming in via different route next week which will ease this a little bit. (you can take this as chips will resume shipping by end of next week for now.)

We can expect them In Two Weeks™

Two Weeks after the end of civilization you mean...
By some accounts there's still Avalon B1 or at least B2 orders that haven't been delivered.  Even if my instincts screaming that these chips will never show up are wrong, which I doubt, it will be a very long time.

How can B1 and B2 orders not been delivered yet they are sending out B3? Did the purchase order info just get lost and Avalon thinks they were all fulfilled in B1 and B2? That doesn't really add up.

I decided I am going to ebay my terrahash account with 1 18 gigahash miner that is currently set to be hosted by terrahash.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=261266406528&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:US:1123

Incase anyone wants it.

If you pay with a bid on bitcoin, it's actually cheaper than paying with paypal when terrahash first started selling.

Just did an estimation over at http://www.coinish.com/calc/#. Assuming an 11.7% reduction in profitability each week, I won't make $300 over the course of a year with 18 GH/s. Had we got these when we were supposed to I would have broke even around 30 days.

At some point, not sure when, the difficulty rise will drop-off drastically. This probably won't be for another year or two - once the mining companies start maximizing the ASIC performance.

Its not. Its already too late if you figure the difficulty increase. The ship has sailed. Had we got our units on the 15th at the latest, we probably would have ROIed. We should have had them earlier and we would have profited some.

Hey who knows...Terrahash may throw us all a little bonus to our favor, to help offset that difficulty increase. Even a bonus k16 or two, for half price or something creative that won't break their bank and would satsify all those who have hung tight and have suffered a difficulty increase while waiting. Now that would calm things down,,lol, IF the chips actually are enroute.

I am about to issue a claim with my credit card and get a refund, but I'd consider not doing that if TH were to offer up more K64 boards for my partially full DX-Large so I have some potential for ROI. Otherwise, I'll let Discover duke it out with them.

I don't see how you can force Terrahash in that position. It's not like they ordered extra chips because they knew they were going o shafted by Cloudhashing AND Bitsyncom.

You took the risk. And your products are almost here.

Make my day! Say thanks if you found me helpful Smiley BTC Address --->
