Saying bitcoin wallets can’t be hacked is a big lie. Hackers are ready to do everything to get whatever they want and when they’re ready to hack bitcoin wallets nothing is going to stop that I mean nothing. Whoever thought millions of computers could go down in WannaCry.

Bitcoin offline wallet is very safe but bitcoin online wallet is not so safe. We know that now a lot of web fishing that can deceive you. So your password and email can be hacked. Some of my friends have experienced the loss of bitcoin caused by hackers.

bitcoin wallets are safe, even bitcoin wallets that are online. they have a great security, you have 2FAs that really make sure you are the only one that knows your wallet key. Hardware wallets, like ledgers and Trezor, for me are the most secured wallet there is since you can carry it around, and again it needs a key for you to access it, before you can even make any transactions. paper wallet is also secured, you just need to keep it safe, since it is on paper, others laminate it since it contains codes wherein you can scan it to check your balance, also it has your address so you can check it online if ever you wanted to make a new transactions. I also read post in this forum that his bitcoin has been stolen from him, however in that scenario greed over that person has took place, he had given all the details on how they can access his wallet, in the end, they took his bitcoins from him, the lesson we can get from there is, no matter how secured your wallet is, do not give away your key so others will not have a way to access it. so bitcoin being wallet being hacked is far from reality, but bitcoin wallet being stolen is close, if you have given away your key. your wallet is already secured, why give someone else the freedom to access, what you worked hard for.

Just be careful on opening links because some link is a phishing of account that's what hackers do to steal wallet, install also anti spyware or anti malware to your laptop or computer. There no safe when we talk in online world because anything is possible to happen.

It can't be as of now or maybe hackers don't want to because they don't think that's worth it there time, they love hacking big money like banks and not a small amount in wallets.. It is just my opinion, brothers..

Indeed. Even professional hackers can't hack your wallet because of their high security. In addition to that, some people say that their wallet was hack by hacker and I think the reason is the poor security and you should activate 2fa to totally secure your wallet and you should keep your private key. To hack the wallets is not an easy task or else we would have been hearing such news like "200 BTCs gone", “Only 30 BTCs left" etc on this forum on daily basis. To be very exact, actually it is not possible if some simple security steps are taken and a little bit more attention is paid towards private key.

Yeah. Like most digital things, Bitcoin wallets can be hacked. However, to prevent this there are some safeguards or cautionary procedure that you could adhere to: First of all, it would be a good idea to encrypt your wallet with a strong password. This increases the difficulty level to hack your wallet, but it does not make it impossible. Hackers can still remotely discover your password with a simple key logger or the like. To add an extra layer of security you could employ two-factor authorisation. This is basically like a second password and increases the security of your wallet. Another guideline is to back it up. This means creating a copy of the private keys that you use to access your Bitcoin. Thus, if in any circumstance you have misplaced your wallet or it has been compromised, you can access your Bitcoin using the private keys. Moreover, you could decrease the temperature of your wallet and go “cold storage”. (I know a pretty bad joke, but I tried) Anyways, let me expand on that. Cold storage is an excellent option to store your Bitcoin if you are not planning on using it anytime in the near future. Cold storage is basically taking your coins offline. A bit like storing your money in the bank, in your own safe at home. This reduces the chances of a hacker even getting near your Bitcoin. Some methods for cold storage include in a USB drive, on a paper wallet, in physical Bitcoin or in offline hardware wallets like Electrum or Bitcoin core. Finally, you also need to make sure that your malware and spyware security is up to date. A simple obstacle like your computer’s firewall can be the difference between losing your Bitcoin and keeping them. So make sure that you are using a good anti-virus software.

But nevertheless, there are cases of hacking, but it's not clear how this happens. I hope that safety will be for us above all.

Unfortunately I personally know some people whose wallets were hacked. Especialy vulnerable are online wallets and you can't be never careful enough. And people disclose their data very easy so sometimes hackers have easy task. Always take all safety measures that are at your disposal and don't ever think that you are completely safe and that Bitcoins will be stolen from someone else.

What kind of question is this? Of course it can be hacked did you not read the thousands of poor people that lost all of their Bitcoins because they got hacked and now have nothing while these criminals get away with the money? This also happened to me, I didn't get hacked but I got scammed multiple times. It is very sad, really.

In case of getting password through a key logger, hackers have to install that app on your digital device which is basically done by tricking people to click some false links etc. The best is to stay conscious when you are roaming around the internet. In second case, the user can access the wallet but at the same time, the hackers will be accessing it too. However, cold storage is a help. Security updates should be installed on regular basis, totally agree with you. A very nice piece of info. Thanks for sharing.

Yes or no. What's more likely to happen if someone will hack your computer. That doesn't necessarily mean that the wallet is compromised itself simply that they picked up your addresses keys while you were copying pasting them at some point, or they leached information of a text file Where you were storing your keys. As long as you get your wallet software from a reputable source and there's only a few of them that itself is nice and secure.
True, small hacks are a lot more common than big hacks, instead to try to break the technology created by security conscious developers is a lot easier to hack people that download something out of the internet and then begin to key log him then when the user at some point copies his private key then the spying software sends that info to the hacker that then process to steal the funds. I don't even get why people go around clicking like every link (especially the ones with cheesy offers) they see on the internet and then just enter their confidential anywhere they are asked. Man! Just think before you really act. Never take the bait when it is too obvious (Scamming). Most of the hacks succeed due to the blind trust people show.

The short answer to the op's question is yes! ofc BTC wallet can be hacked by hackers if the owner of the wallet is not cautious about what he is doing. there had been a plenty of cases in which the BTC from users offline BTC wallet has vanished in other words got stolen by hackers.

Well, basically it is to get into the wallet system that is in bitcoin all hackers would have trouble to break it down. Because their defense is very high, so they can only be broken into the negligence of the owner of the addres or wallet. So it's better to start thinking now how to use the right wallet so as not to be the target of hackers to take our funds. It is true that you must activate 2fa, because it is very important but it must be kept well

Anything can happened if you don't take security measures. It's you to decide to secure your keys or not or be hacked or not.

I think Bitcoin is hard to hack if you do not lose your account key. In addition, you should not visit fraudulent, fake or unidentified websites, which will prevent hackers from accessing your device.

If you want to keep your bitcoin secure then you should use the blockchain and if you don’t want to use any wallet then don’t ever give your private key to anyone.
