Yes bitcoin wallets can be hacked by hackers but that is if the protocol is poorly built without security in mind. Also if users have 2 factor authentication setup then this is a huge plus in staying safe online.

Honestly I think there is always some anonymous individual or maybe a group who is trying to hack it. Because as we all know, if it is automated, there is always a possibility to be hacked. But I am confident that the developers of it will never let it happen. I am sure that they have something that will prevent it.

As far as I’m concerned many hackers really wanna hack e wallet. Although developers always use many security programs, I think that you should only spend a certain amount of money in electronic wallets for trading. The rest should be transferred to your bank account for safekeeping

The hacker can't hack your online wallet unless you share your password with them. Also if you use same password in several websites it can be hacked. If you have enough security in your wallet it can't be hacked.

can they hack into our wallet. There are many professional hackers out there. What are the chances? Also what is the safest way to safeguard ourself?
It's basically impossible to hack into a wallet without being able to access it in some kind of semi-direct manner, meaning online wallets are technically vulnerable but have a very good network of security systems in place so that it is hard to do something like that. If you have a desktop wallet, it can't be hacked without having access to the computer they're hacking and having that computer online so they can actually conduct the transaction. If you want to be safe keep your Bitcoin in a desktop wallet on an external drive that is only connected to the internet when you're making a transaction and no other times. There is a problem there is a solution. It you think that type of threatening then you have to take a strong and secure measure. Your password should not be shared with any other people as well as you should avoid use other computer for login in to your wallet. So that you can be safe.

Hackers are "Hackers". They will penetrate your security if they want to. So a piece of advice of mine to protect your bitcoin wallet is to provide some long complex passwords, with a combination of upper and lower-case letters, numeric characters and even some special characters. This will prevent the hacker to make some brute-force attacks on your bitcoin wallet, making them difficult to crack your password.

Anything can be hacked with enough time and effort. But honestly the only way into an encrypted wallet is with brute force password breaking. Where you have a script that tries every possible password option imaginable.
This is why your best defense is as strong of a passphrase as you can fathom. Because the more of their time you waste, the less willing they are to keep trying.

Yes because there are also people who do not protect their online wallets and do not read the post then that is a scam so many people have hacked their bitcoin wallets and if they protect their wallets they can not hacked their wallets so we read the posts of others.

What do you actually mean by loop hole? Did you want to say about private key. Yes hackers can hack your data if they have your private key and they are good at stealing the private key I guess. The best way to be safe will be not exposing your actual balance and also trying to keep the private key as much possible as personal. Hackers these days find nothing impossible so it is good to be safe on our side. Bitcoins will definitely attract many more hackers with the increasing price.

Online bitcoin wallets are possible to hack but desktop wallets are very hard to hack without using private key it will take a lot of time before a hacker can crack the private-key of a certain wallet maybe it can take a year or more, much more easy to hack a windows os where those private key are stored and steal it lol.

i think there are some experts in the world that can be able to hack the online wallet and this will also only possible when you do any mistake while they were trying to hack your account but the desktop wallet is impossible or very difficult to hake because to stole private keys is not a simple or easy work.

Online wallets are less secure compared to hardware/desktop wallets. Of course, best option is hardware wallets like trezor or nano ledger. Desktop wallet is hackable and has vulnerabilites.

in the hacker nothing is impossible if it is on the internet or online.yes there's many malware on different site you don't know that you're online wallet that you trust maybe its one of these too. and if not i think the hacker can make way just to steal your bitcoin especially if you have more bitcoin they got interest on your account. for me the safest way is to the offline wallet of what we called cold storage in this site this is ofline and it have self security when the hackers steal your bitcoin also you can put the bitcoin in to your usb using of this.

Hackers can compromise everything but a wallet on your desktop is hard to hack unless your PC is compromised with keyloggers or other malwares that will let them access your wallet.
