Do Altcoins really have a future?

For all we know, altcoins are so many but each of them have their peculiar uses. They are there to serve the project they are made on behalf of. Therefore they will have a bright future if their project is also doing perfectly well. If the project is a failure then the coin will definitely follow to the bottom.

platform or protocol projects with a lot of backers and large community will always have a future. i think some of them are 0x, eos, boscoin, ethereum, tezos, and possibly kyber network.

Everyone may not adopt Bitcoin as their currency, may not like the price value or may be something else. Many altcoins are custom made and serve a purpose. So some applications may choose them according to their implementation. Altcoins do have a future, at least some.

For me, altcoins really have a future because almost of the people in the world are depending and focusing on the internet so they will use cryptocurrency as a way of paying so it is the chance of altcoins to produce more and make their value higher so they will really have a future.

Yes altcoin n have a future but i think not all of altcoin has a future but some altcoins have a future like ARK, AE, ETH, WAVES, STRATIS, etc.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

I think so. They won't create altcoins if it will not play a major role in the crypto market. In my opinion they are there to balance bitcoin because if there are no altcoins the bitcoin price would be double or triple the price nowadays.

the problem of transaction that bitcoin have, is the disadvantage of blockchain system, can't keeping up with the burden of having so much users and so many transactions going around. while the mining power is limited, this system must be repaired from its root and everything will be fine. the current blockchain system is just not really effective for users who spend bitcoin to buy.

If you can witness the doge coin,its value was 6satoshi last year and now its value was around 70 sat a month before. So howcome its value increased? certainly its alive and has good volume in trading. Like doge there are also other coins which are active and ready to compete.

it must be a very long wait for its price to reach up to a dollar each. its a good news for someone who holds hundreds of millions of doge but for someone who only have A MILLION doge, its a bad news for those who holds billions are going to dump before the rest that will drag its price back to 6 sat.

And why wouldn't they have? Look on Bitcoin. It's transactions cost a fortune, transaction times are frozen-like delayed by a millenia, market cap is surging every single month from the bottom to new ATH or from the ATH to rock bottom.

altcoin is a good buying solution after bitcoin because to buy 1 bitcoin have to spend a lot of money then people choose to buy altcoin
because the price is not too expensive then have a good prospect then people choose it

I truly believe so that some altcoin will have good future. Bitcoin already proved it & Ethereum & Dash also behind the Bitcoin. But there are some other good altcoin Xrp, Xmr, SC, Waves, Doge, Dgb, Etc, Ltc & Lsk. I beleive it will worth to hold all these coins as well.

I think ethereum has already covered a good attention from people since the last year and this is likely to be from bitcoin family.
The value of ethereum can be obviously seen in a higher position than all altcoins. In other words, ether has mesmerised traders mostly thogh we can't assess how strong would it  be in future.

Ethereum is the leading in the altcoins race and I agree that it will also increase it's value in the future, sad news now about china banning
ICOs has really affected ETH because most of the ICO are build in ETH platform, but this will not last, people will realize it's good usages more than
